Can't get this version to start up on PPC G4 Mac with OS X 10.5.8 installed. Odd thing is that it is running fine on another PPC G4 Mac. Have tried everything. [alert admin]

Don't really understand the point of this. Google Maps are already available in Address Book, as shown in your menu preview ("Map Of"). [alert admin]

Apple iTunes 9.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Does NOT Resolve Beachball Problems!!! C'mon Apple!!! ![]()

This update does NOT resolve the spinning beachball issues that many of us are having while browsing the iTunes Store. In fact, I actually believe that this update made it worse! May I make a suggestion Apple? Please consider a downgrade option to version 8 for those of us who are losing our patience with this, and pull 9 until you test it enough to make it work on the machines it is suppose to! If you have already reverted to version 8, don't even bother with this update. It will be a complete waste of your time. [alert admin]

Adobe InDesign CS4 6.0.4 (Mac OS X)
Sorry, this is correct updater. Originally when I did mouseover, it said 6.0.3. They must have changed it. Not posted on Adobe's site. Sorry for the misinformation... [alert admin]

Apple iTunes 9.0 (Mac OS X)
Slow as heck compared to previous version. Crashes. Seems to have same problems as Safari 4. Why make this available to run on PPC machines, when it runs horribly? I would have rather stuck with what I had then to upgrade to this crap. Getting really tired of Apple's philosophy of "Well then by a new machine" attitude. Maybe I will buy one -- it's called a PC. Flip4Mac WMV 2.3.0.11 (Mac OS X)
Maybe the people who are getting it to open aren't actually downloading the beta??? I tried downloading from 3 different sites, including Telestream (Snow Leopard beta on left of page). None of them work. Won't open with Stuffit Expander or Archive Utility or Disk Utility. [alert admin]

Having huge problems with Safari 4.0.3 since this update. G4 with 1.6Ghz upgrade. Getting constantly spinning beachballs when Java is accessed on certain pages. Have to force quit. A sad disappointment Apple because this only affects YOUR browser. Firefox and Opera working fine. You guys are so wrapped up with Snow Leopard and iPhone that you don't care about anyone else that uses your products. [alert admin]

But that's exactly my complain about people like you who post here. What exactly IS your complaint. You state nothing except generalized comments. I think Quark 8 is much improved over Quark 7. I have seen improvements -- and I use the product. So if you criticize the product, be specific. Don't just shoot off your mouth unless you're shooting it off about something worth complaining about. They…

Did you apply the EFI firmware update first before applying the superdrive update? It says in requirements that the EFI firmware update is required for this update. Maybe you did, but I'm just asking as maybe you didn't and that is the problem...

Seems to me that there are other issues with your machine. This utility should not cause all of the programs you listed to crash.

You wouldn't be able to "accidentally install this. It runs through several buttons which ask if you want to install the software and where. It just doesn't install by double-clicking the package. Furthermore, this program only runs in the Single-User mode, which requires you to boot your machine using Cmd-S when starting up. The errors that you are showing randomly appear on my machines, and according to the reports I've read, this is not an…

I'll bet your viewing your site in Safari -- correct? Did you try opening your site using Firefox (mac or pc) or Explorer 6 (pc)? Bet you'll be surprised that your site doesn't work properly. And that's what we're complaining about...
