Convert to PDF 1.2 (Mac OS X)
This is superfluous. If you / I have a text file that you / I thought was important enough to save as a pdf, then you / I would have done that when you / I saved / read it the first time. I do this whenever I want to email text docs to others who may not have the same word processor or who don't need a spreadsheet to see my figures or who don't know how to manipulate a data base doc. Apple Hard Drive Update 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Comments from 2007 and having nothing to do with this particular update do not belong here. And VT should not have a title which includes "for iMac Core 2 Duo & Mac Pro" while the description (in the VT newsletter) says it's for a June 2009 MacBook Pro. [alert admin]

Apple Bluetooth 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Why are comments relating to BT dated 2005, 2004 etc. being included? What do those comments have to do with this version of BT? Since a bought my RAZR more than four years ago, I have been using BT. The only problem has been with interference when I walk into my kitchen and the refrigerator is between the Jabra and the phone. [alert admin]

PhotoRescue 3.1.11 (Mac OS X)
This application is the update to the version I bought a couple of years ago (Photorescue Wizard-2.1.686). It does what it is supposed to do- find/resurrect image files on digital media. I used it when my daughter's hard drive failed, and we still had many of the photos on the CF cards. Even though they had been 'deleted' and other images had been saved on the cards, the older images were still retrievable. The only problem with PhotoRescue at that time was that it would quit on its own after it was finished. It was not a problem to re-launch it, but it was disconcerting. Paying for it was a hassle. I cannot remember exactly what payment 'service' it was, but it was enough (of a hassle) that I would not want to have to go through that process again. [alert admin]

A couple of years ago I had bought a scanner made by HP. I had used it a few times to scan documents and photos. At the time I needed a fax machine, and when my Panasonic needed repair (the rubber paper feed wheels would not feed paper), I bought an al-in-one made by HP - the price was right. That is an Officejet 4315. I still am using it but had to give up…

From GC / lemkesoft web site [http://www.lemkesoft.com/content/202/notes-about-the-universal-binary-version.html] - Photoshop compatible plug-ins are not supported because they use the classic Carbon CFM calling mechanism. Please try to ask the manufacturer of your scanner for a TWAIN driver if it uses a Photoshop plugin at the moment.

rjvh - Did you look to see whether it is now possible to Save (under the File menu) the video? I thought I had read that Snow Leopard was to have QT Pro features, so maybe that has already been changed in Safari 4.0.2.

As anyone knows, when surfing the internet, one may wish to print a pdf of the page currently being viewed. To do this, one may conveniently use command-P. Guess where the BACK_PAGE command is - right next to the P. Did ya think about that, GenX?
