MouseWizard 4.0 (Mac OS X)
The idea is just great but I found the the mouse additions a little 'jerky' compared to the trackpad on the MacbookPro. I use the Zoom functions a lot on the trackpad of the MacBookPro but with Mouse Wizard they were slow to operate. Even the sleep function seemed slow to instigate? [alert admin]

Boinx FotoMagico 2.5b4 (Mac OS X)
This 2.5 version is much better!
I have used FotoMagico for over a year now and have gone through the trials & tribulations of its incarnations. I am delighted to say that the new beta version 2.5 improves most of the areas I had qualms about except—as it has been pointed out by others—the very slow exporting/rendering. I would like to see this application take advantage of Elgato's Turbo .264 device which allows me up to 3 times faster export from applications such as EyeTV etc I now use this excellent software/hardware combo for most of my conversions to either AppleTV or iPod. Great stuff. [alert admin]

Blue Crab 4.9.6 (Mac OS X)
After trying 3 other programs, only Blue Crab was able to download for off-line viewing of the entire site. It maintained all the links etc Wonderful! It may be a bit unMac-like but that can improve later. It does what it says it will do, that's important! [alert admin]

Emailed the supplier a couple of times, no response. Simply doesn't work under Leopard and as others have pointed out renames folders. Unfortunate, as this is an excellent plugin for Safari and really liked the way it worked under 10.4 Tiger [alert admin]

PopChar X 3.2 (Mac OS X)
I find it one of the most indispensable utilities on my Mac. It has always been great and just gets better and better. It just makes the whole operation of finding those hidden characters so much better than any other way. [alert admin]

Overflow 2.5 (Mac OS X)
Have just installed Overflow on a new iMac 24" Intel Core 2 Duo and it works well. For those experiencing troubles you will find that when you download the application is now v 2.5.1 which fixes the problems encountered by a few users. Excellent application, can't do without it! [alert admin]

Firefox 3 doesn't work with iWeb sites and BLAMES APPLE
I agree, and it also does not render the shadows and reflections either, Safari does beautifully. Firefox 2 allows you to see the thumbnails but you don't as I said get shadowing or reflections which makes your web pages crappy. Gone back to 2.0.0.14
