Apple Airport Extreme Update 2008-003 (Mac OS X)

If they pulled it, I know why...

I did a download and install of this and now my macbook pro can't see my 802.11n network. It still see's the 802.11g, but thats very little to get excited about. And yes I'm sure my 'n' network is working because my other laptop that I thankfully didn't update can still connect to it. What a bunk update... [alert admin]

WeDict 1.0 (iPhone)

add dictionaries?

I can't seem to figure out how to add additional dictionaries to WeDict. I tried putting the dictionary files in /mobile/library/weDict/ like the jailbreak version, and I tried putting them inside the WeDict.app itself which works for a little while but then eventually when I tap to open WeDict I get an error message saying it can't open anymore. Tried looking at the dev site, but my Chinese sucks. [alert admin]

Enigmo 1 2.0.8 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

iPhone Version Soon!

I'm psyched about this coming out for the iPhone! The only downside is that I'm not gonna have any battery power left to make calls. [alert admin]

YamiPod 1.7 (Mac OS X)

Good but one major setback...

This worked awesomely in getting my songs off of my ipod and back into itunes, however, one major problem for me, which is keeping me looking for another solution, is that it doesn't properly maintain track/album names for files tagged in languages such as Japanese or Chinese. The text is just garbled. If this one problem could get fixed, this would be the perfect song recovery app for ipod. [alert admin]

Adium X 1.2 (Mac OS X)

Cool but...

Anyone else having trouble with the typing area in a chat window? Mine keeps automatically scaling to a teeny size after a few messages. Really annoying... [alert admin]

The Unarchiver 1.6 (Mac OS X)

Behaving odd under 10.5

For some reason launch services in 10.5 refuse to allow setting The Unarchiver as a default application for .zip or any other files. If I set a .zip file to be opened with The Unarchiver in the file's info window and click "change all", the "open with:" popup reverts to apples Archive Utility. [alert admin]

Letterbox 0.22 (Mac OS X)

Is 0.22 Leopard only?

I'm running 10.4.11 and tried to install this version, but the MailPluginManager quits itself before launching. (it does one of those deals where the dock has just started to make some room for the app to fit in, but then the app doesn't launch and everything goes back to normal) ...not sure what the technical term for that is. Dock-feinting? [alert admin]

SvnX 0.9.13 (Mac OS X)

certification failures

Could you please think about adding an option to skip the certification check should it fail? There's no reason why a certification check failure should keep me from accessing a server I know is safe. Thanks [alert admin]

Why?

I use both side-by-side, but I think its much more convenient to use this software for not only installing/removing plugins (and avoiding the occasional permissions problems), but also the ability to enable/disable plugins on the fly. There have also been plugins that, despite my best efforts, just would not load properly through the SIMBL plugins folder. As much fun as I have rooting through my library sub-directories and running terminal commands, this is a lot less time-consuming. That's…

question

I'm not so sure this is true. I have emoji's enabled on my iPhone and my iPhone friends who don't, can still see the icons and everything when I send a text-message. The reason, I believe, is because emoji's are built into the iPhone's firmware.

I hope at the least that it stops automatically quitting in the next update.

Ok! I figured out what causes it... kind of

So when typing, if I type enough to make it wrap to the next line, the divider between the typing area and the message display drops all the way down so you can barely see what you are typing. So thats how it happens.... but I still don't know why. (other than that its a bug)
