SuperDuper! 2.5 (Mac OS X)

It simply doesn't work

I've used SuperDuper! for years and it worked very well. Under Leopard, at the end of the backup (option copy all files) the Mac can't restart from the backup drive which is silently ignored. When I use the system preference to try to boot from the backup drive, the problem remains. I've tried to make a backup of Leopard on two different firewire devices (LaCie) and the backups failed. The technical support of SuperDuper! answer that it is a hardware problem ! So, why does the backup of MacOS 10.4 made with the version 2.1.4 of SuperDuper! work fine ? [alert admin]

Collectorz.com Movie Collector 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

A very good movie database !

I was looking for this kind of product and found nothing really interesting before I discovered Movie Collector. This product is not just a Windows software ported on the Mac, it's a great software for the Mac, powerfull, flexible and easy to use. Congratulations to the Mac developper. [alert admin]

I was wrong. SuperDuper works fine on Leopard

I've made a big mistake. Usually, on MacOS X and before, the startup disk is always displayed on the top left corner of the screen. It wasn't the case, so I thought that I had boot from the original partition and not the backup drive. It was an error because when I check the information in "About this Mac", I notice that I have boot from the backup drive... I apologise for this mistake. Thanks to Dave…

Hardware compatibility with Leopard

I have already contacted the technical support (Case 62219) and you answerd me : "I don't know what we can do: it seems to be that the hardware is having trouble making itself available, since the backup itself definitely *is* bootable..."
