Sequoia 1.7 (Mac OS X)
very addictive, + a few criticisms...
Having been using this for about six weeks, I find that I still have only 40 as my highest score, but it is extremely tempting to waste many hours attempting to improve skills. It would be useful if the menu could list the keyboard commands, to vary size etc. or remap keys, as I have managed to now have it always load with a blacked out screen after attempting to blindly experiment with the preferences. So time to download again, so that I can actually see what is happening. [alert admin]

Bento 2.0v4 (Mac OS X)
Disables your older version after 30 days
If you download and install this version, you will be offered a new trial for 30 days. It seems that this update improves little, yet requires you to buy another license again. [alert admin]

Apple Lexmark Printer Driver 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I download and installed this new application onto my MacBook Pro OSX 10.5.4 in the hope that it might improve the print quality on my Z33. Instead it prevented the printer from working at all after it had made a test page. Eventually I had to go and get the old driver for 10.3 from the Lexmark site and reinstall to get my Z33 to function again. [alert admin]

Strobe Tuner 1.6 (Mac OS X)
I am pleased to see that you have removed LucyTunings from your microtonal options, in this version, as you had the names and offset values wrong on earlier versions. It might make more sense if you provided users with the opportunity to build their own microtonal tunings instead of trotting out the "tired, old" favorites with limited capabilities again;-) Or you could enable the application to accept Scala files or one of the other microtuning codes. see: http://www.lucytune.com/midi_and_keyboard/pitch_bend.html for details. mp3 surround encoder 1.1.4 (Mac OS X)
How do I bounce my Logic files to 6 channel wavs?
This software may be fine, although I have yet to find a way to get Logic Pro 7 to bounce my 5:1 surround audio into six channel wav files which seem to be the only format that it can convert to mp3s. [alert admin]

Integrity 0.2 (Mac OS X)
Useful, could benefit from more features
Very useful app, yet to be told that multiple links lead to an error, is not particularly helpful. It would be better that a list of the offending pages could be shown, so that they can more easily be corrected. [alert admin]

TabletMagic 2.0b7 (Mac OS X)
Maybe fine for WACOM - doesn't see my Trust 1200
I downloaded and installed this on OSX 10.4.8 G5 dual 2.0MHz in the hope that it might resurrect my Trust 1200 Wireless tablet for which the Trust site states that there is no OSX driver. Although the wireless mouse now works, Tablet Magic does not see my (wrong brand?) tablet. Any hints or suggestions to encourage it to see my tablet would be appreciated. [alert admin]

Chromatic Tuner 1.5 (Mac OS X)
If you can't get it right ---- remove it;-)
I am pleased to see that this revision has removed the Lucy microtunings from the latest version. It had previously been incorrectly named as 3b2# Lucy when in fact it was 5b0# Lucy. Better to leave it out entirely unless the developers can produce it absolutely correctly. Maybe, one fine day, I'll just write a set of microtuning codes for Chromatic, Piano, and Strobe to use, and put them up with the reliable codes for Melodyne, Logic, Cubase, and Cameleon at: http://lucytune.com/midi_and_keyboard/pitch_bend.html Meanwhilst, I'll use another tuner e.g. my old Peterson Hardware Strobe. Very nice but ... how do you start it?
I have downloaded and installed this application, yet being the average dumb user, I can't figure out how to activate it. Where are the instructions, or at least a subtle hint?

I suspect that this rose-tinted comment is from a "friend" of the developer.

Neat idea yet could go further
The scalecoding goes a long way beyond the seven "white note" modes, and covers the even the most exotic "ethinic" modes, scales etc. see: http://www.lucytune.com/new_to_lt/lucytuning_scales.html for more examples. I'll try getting it to feed into Logic Audio from an outboard keyboard.

AVOID this program like the plague!!!!!!
I have no idea what caused the problem. The program did run for a few seconds, and the first time that it blacked out the screen was immediately after the pieces first began to run upwards. I have never had a similar problem with any Mac systems. Although it blacked me out twice, since I removed the program everything seemed to be running fine, except that I had to reset some strange changes that had…
