Posterino 1.0b4r142 (Mac OS X)

Great Program

Having been an early tester in the private beta, I find the developer very responsive and interested in ideas that will improve this program. It is a useful tool that does a good job of filling a need and more easily than many other programs that could be made to do similar things. Worth your time to check out and well worth the price as it continues to improve! [alert admin]

LightScribe Host Software 1.4.105.1 (Mac OS X)

Product Has Known Problems

This version was actually released July 26 and has at least one known problem. Use of two or more text blocks will cause the application to crash when attempting to print to the CD. LaCie has duplicated the issue and expects to offer a revised version. Just be warned that problems exist with this version. [alert admin]

Handy App

A very handy little utility that is compact in size and useful. The devoloper is friendly, responsive and eager to add function to his product. Try it and give him some feedback to help make it more useful. [alert admin]

iClock 1.11b3r2 (Mac OS X)

As a user…

running many programs and utilities "under the hood" of OS X, I know the frustration of an app that just doesn't work. Fortunately, iClock has NOT been one of those. While I sympathize with those having problems, iClock may NOT be all (or any) of the real problem. It works great for me! [alert admin]

FontBook X 3.7 (Mac OS X)

A very handy…

utility that's been around and updated for several years now. I've used it with hundreds of fonts (primarily to produce "font books for easy choice and viewing of font differences) with all versions of OS on several machines and all without problems. Corrupted fonts often explain the problems users have rather than the program itself. [alert admin]

VueScan 7.5.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Great program and…

great job of keeping it up-to-date and adding additional features. Well worth the cost to keep my scanners working with OS X! [alert admin]

Why is it...

Turn OFF your setting for Banner suppressing in Netbarrier (under the Privacy settings) and then you can download from Sourceforge. After your download you can turn the settings back ON if you wish.
