VLC media player 0.8.1 (Mac OS X)
CoreAudio device support needs support for stereo output
If you have a professional multi-output audio interface like I do, then you should know that VLC can only play out of one channel at a time. It would be far more desireable if VLC coupled the outputs into stereo pairs. e.g. Output 1+2, 3+4, 5+6, etc..etc.. I should also note that VLC _is_ complying with the Coreaudio spec here, but its just a question of taking it one step further. It simply isn't useful playing a stereo file out of a single output channel only. I use output 1+2 for all computer output. Note: If you select built-in, then you get the option to use a stereo output. My pro audio interface sounds much better than the built-in, so I'd rather use it for audio playback. This app looks very cool. I launched it and it changed my desktop. However, no app is running in the dock, there are no read-me's downloaded with the app and I have no preferences as pictured on this page. I'd like to know how to uninstall it, or modify its settings. [alert admin]

If you want a great multi-track recorder/editor with a future, check out Live by Ableton. Deck is a scary POS which should never have been released. You can't even move the faders while audio is in play. If you do NOTHING happens. Bias should focus on making Peak suck less. [alert admin]

Vokator 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Native make brilliant products, but this lack of AU support is pretty weak. I'm sure it will arrive, but I wish they'd worked it out BEFORE shipping the product. AU will become a LOT more important over the next year. We're still building momentum. [alert admin]

Unity Session X 3.1 (Mac OS X)
it amusing when developers pose as users to try and turn around public opinion. I realize that you are a smaller operation, but you really should SERIOUSLY consider rearchitecting your application so that its A) a SINGLE application and B) much simpler to operate. You have great sounding code, but an awful interface which requires too much work to figure out. Also, its VERY buggy. [alert admin]

same price, you can get ProTools 6 with an Mbox Focusrite audio interface.. PT is about 10 billion times better than Peak.. so, maybe they should drop their price to about 99$. Its not even worth that, but.. they've got to charge something I guess.. [alert admin]
