yourself up a ssh tunnel to your dmz host (the one you can already access from the 'net) - that way you get secure inbound connectivity to your most vulnerable host *and* proxy access to all your other LAN boxes. If you need ports other than ssh open to the world get yourself a lowend Cisco pix or 26xx router from ebay. Vicomsoft is really intended for home users. [alert admin]

the letterbox mode off just go to /users/library/preferences/g-force prefs (itunes) and set MaxX=640 MaxY=480. Speeds up rendering and removes the black bands at full screen. Do this on a 22" cinema display may seriously alter your outlook on life. [alert admin]
