Adobe Flash Player 9.0.124.0 (Mac OS X)

Wow, crashing seems fixed in beta 10.0.1.128!

About time Adobe! I will post back if the evil crashing returns... http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html Funny that a beta works better than the release version! [alert admin]

Microsoft Office 2008 12.1.0 (Mac OS X)

Still Glacially SLOW on PPC G4 Dual 500, where's MS Project?!

STILL Glacially SLOW on a PPC G4 Dual 500, and where is MS Project -- been absent for years?! Would be nice to see an update where the main focus is SPEED optimization, starting out on the slowest supported HW! [alert admin]

Perian 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Update Check Pop-under is ANNOYING!

What's with the Update Check Pop-under? It is ANNOYING, and hard to find -- the dialog giving you the status of the update check is not viewable until you move the System Preferences window! This is just bad design! Otherwise it seems good. [alert admin]

EyeTV 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)

H.264 Most Compelling Feature in 3.0.2

H.264 is really the big deal in this version, but not until the US changes to H.264 for over-the-air HD from MPEG-2 -- the end result is many more digital channels over the same spectrum due to H.264's increased bandwidth efficiency! Anyone know when the US is due to transition to H.264?! Satellite has changed in the US many months ago... OTA is slower to change, though, due to more government involvement, I believe. [alert admin]

Smart Crash Reports 1.5b2 (Mac OS X)

Apple should add this functionality standard!

Now, I hope that Adobe finally adds SCR support to the biggest crasher of all -- Flash! ;-) [alert admin]

No good...

Then reply to CNN (that Feedback link in the upper right on video web pages): https://secure.opinionlab.com/ccc01/comment_card.asp?time1=1210975773977&time2=1210975963068&prev=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ecnn%2Ecom%2F&referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ecnn%2Ecom%2Fvideo%2F%23%2Fvideo%2Fus%2F2008%2F05%2F16%2Fdnt%2Ericker%2E5yrold%2Edriver%2Ewivb&height=1008&width=1344&custom_var=undefined I did, and that is the only site I found a problem with.

At Least 10X slower on PPC G4 than version 2.11

AIR runs HORRIBLY slow on the PPC G4 -- hence all AIR apps are extremely pokey. AIR is a terrible choice for this app, it's a big speed hit. Most developers, including M$, still don't get it...

Try the Gizmo5.com application, it also does SIP... I think you will like it better, and it's also cross-platform!

There is only one version.

WRONG, 3.3.6 is for 10.4 3.4.4 is for 10.5 They SHOULD make just ONE version for both...

You have to install it twice...

If you installed some other Adobe product in-between, some other Adobe installer probably put a lower version back on your Mac... I had this happen.

Disappointed w/iTunes lack of full sync/backup!

No, the photo syncing is not automatic, it has to be setup separately (stupid!). The email account was on the iPhone ONLY, and is not able to be synced to the Mac through the preferences you reference. The only mail accounts listed in iTunes are ones already on your computer -- it does NOT list ones ONLY on your iPhone. *sigh* :-(
