Apple Logic Pro 8.0.1 (Mac OS X)

No idea...

Someone at Apple must have messed up as this has been out for a while as already noted. Maybe 8.0.2 was slated for release...and they didn't update versioning on VT [alert admin]

Contour Shuttle 2.1.3 (Mac OS X)

Beware of this install

The geniuses replaced my Menu bar PLIST and I lost my clock, eject button as well as several other Apple menu items. All third party menu items are still there... [alert admin]

BSOD! 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

It's nice and all but......

Should be called ScreenUserUpper not Screensaver. Unless you have your monitor set to sleep after a few minutes...this will COOK the image into the CRT and even some LCDs. [alert admin]

RAFBrowse 0.2.3 (Mac OS X)

Well you have the Preferences...

In the right spot. Nothing to alter however. I'd move your "About" back where it belongs....under the Application Icon on the menu bar. http://developer.apple.com/business/aida.html [alert admin]

Home Weather Center 1.2.3 (Mac OS X)

Keeps trying to autolaunch after quitting.

Dragged the app OUT of the mounted image to the Apps folder...ran it for a while....tried quitting....it keeps trying to launch on it's own. Tried ejecting the image...can't. The Install Check window keeps popping up even after using Activity Monitor to kill the process....interesting. Only a reboot would resolve the issue.... [alert admin]

Home Weather Center 1.2.3 (Mac OS X)

Getting closer...

Can now find the cities....but....in the imagery, clicking Preview, location 1 is showing location 2 and location 2 is showing location 1. Other than that...seems pretty cool....lots of stuff to play with and configure.. [alert admin]

Location Lookup pretty much blows

Trying to Enter New York and then Lookup....I get the "Couldn't find location code for New York. huh?? New freakin York? Tried Lookup on Cupertino....same result. Saint Louis, MO, same thing. St. Louis, MO. Kansas City....the same for EVERY location even the default. Even the zip codes don't work. Better luck next release. [alert admin]

TrackDesigner 1.2 (Mac OS X)

Looks OK....

But WILL NOT run on a G5 OS X 10.3.5. Tried it on two different machines....nada. 10.2.8 on an iMac, it launches, can ad track but crashes as soon as the mouse touches a piece to add it to the layout. [alert admin]

Still waiting for Apple to add Panasonic Lumix DMC LX-1

Posting the same thing three times....well I guess it could be like Dorothy clicking her heels three times to get back to Kansas....or to get support for your cam. In most of ALL Apple apps are feedback menu items. iPhoto for instance has under the iPhoto icon menu, "Provide iPhoto Feedback item than when clicked, takes the clickee to the Apple feedback page where Apple DOES sit and read the submissions. Good luck...

Trouble loading on MacBook Pro

Running fine on MacBook Pro....v.2.0.6 is Universal. Do a Get Info on the plug-in to verify you have 2.0.6 loaded. 2.0.5 was PPC only.

Close, but no cigar

.ASP files are associated with Apple System Profiler. You have to change the ASP files that download to open Citrix...in the Get Info dialog, Open with: change to Citrix then Change All button.

Not Sure it Downloaded Proper

Delete the Weather Maps folder that gets created, move the Weather Maps folder that is in the Weather Scripts folder to the desktop. It's all hoarked up. Also....it's not that difficult to script a zip code or region entry. It's just DL'ing the region maps.... That way when you run the script, you enter the zip code of where you live or a region code and it grabs the maps for where you live.

Location Lookup Solution

Well Rob...been running Macs since the SE30 days....at the first sign of trouble, I make sure I've placed the app in my App folder and am running from there. But as long as the app can write to the Prefs folder....it shouldn't matter where it's running from...and it appears it can write to the prefs folder no matter where it is running from. The last entries I made yesterday before deleting HWC were still there…
