Symantec NAV/SAV virus def Jun 26 (Mac OS X)
1) No other comments since back in January! Is anyone else still using this? 2) I still use it to scan stuff to purge it of PC viruses, just to be sure I'm a good corporate citizen and don't pass any nasties on to others. In that sense, it's fairly useful for a Mac user. [alert admin]

Should I apply this to 10.4.10, does anyone know?
This is advertised as applicable to 10.4.9, yet it appears in the Software Update list when running under 10.4.10. Does anyone know whether 10.4.10 includes this update? If not, should it be applied to 10.4.10 righ tway? [alert admin]

EyeTV 2.4 (Mac OS X)
EyeTV and SecurityUpdate2007-004 conflict
Folks, Don't install EyeTV if you've also installed Apple's Security Update. At least, on my dual G5 PowerPC, the EyeTV MPEG component which is installed by EyeTV introduces a problem that makes the machine unusable. Wait for another update! [alert admin]

Machine hosed after installing EyeTV 2.4
After installing EyeTV 2.4, my machine crashed back to single user mode. Rebooting also just resulted in single user mode. Had to restore from my most recent image. Not very impressed. Never had this with any previous version update. [alert admin]

Doesn't support long filenames?
Yep, this is the single most irritating thing about using this program. One has to save to a new short filename and then rename in the Finder.
