MP3 ID3X 3.0.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
The revisions are worthwhile, unfortunately my 20,000+ song library has now been converted to AAC. Still a great app, but I've gotten used to just using iTunes ever since MP4 has been introduced. With MP4 support the $18 might be worth it, but as it stands, it doesn't even do what iTunes can already do for free. [alert admin]

You can no longer hit command-L to highight the location bar, you can't paste into the location bar and command-A doesn't select all in the location bar. This is the longest I've used any of the browsers, and I can still download the version here, but the revisions they are making don't make any sense to me. Download this one before it gets updated, the newer ones just plain suck. [alert admin]

liked Chimera, but one thing drives me nuts. The lack of a simple History menu. I don't want to look through a sorted tab view to go back 6 pages. A friend of mine was asking why I started using Safari, and I wasn't really sure at first. Then I went back to Chimera, and it became very evident. I hope Camino (0.7) has an option for the simpler menu style History. [alert admin]

OmniWeb 4.1.1 (Mac OS X)
Omniweb crashed on me while trying to post this– posting this from Mozilla now) I want to believe. Really, I do. I've downloaded and tried OmniWeb three times now. But there are several interface quirks that make me dump it after a few weeks and choose Mozilla. Things like no History menu (and no way to view history in a flat-file style like the old days). Drawers with a bunch of turn down folders doesn't help me when I want to go back to a page I was just at 5 pages ago. It takes longer, and that's not efficient to me. Not everything in a browser needs database level organization. Things like still having to bookmark something and then go file it away. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Mozilla, they've got the "bookmark and file it as you go" down pat. I really like OmniWeb, but the few things that make it harder for me to surf make me ultimately choose Mozilla. I would pay for a browser, especially one designed for Mac OS X, but before Omni gets my money, the interface will need more customization options to suit my tastes. [alert admin]
