iTunesVolume 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)

Finally found what I've been looking for.

Well, not "perfectly true," but with the *addition* of this I now have all I want for iTunes use. First there's iTunes, much maligned (but if you're interested in these helper apps you must be OK with iTunes). Then I use Synergy as 1) I paid long ago and 2) it is more solid (reliable and featured) than any one other app. GimmeSomeTune causes stutter though not as bad as before. TotalTunesControl comes close but lacks a feature or style I want (but price is decent). Playwatch is a good start (and price is decent). CoverSutra is way overpriced. TuneBar is slick in some respects but is lacking in a couple other areas. But with iTunes and Synergy I have the best of all mentioned above: global hotkey support and nice/flexible artwork floater on track change using Synergy; volume control without having yet another something in my menu bar (plus iTunesVolume's controller can be set to be almost invisible in your workspace) & ability to display huge album art (great Playwatch feature) as well as track info using iTunesVolume. Plus iTunesVolume is free. Other than the lack of good usage info (in English for us gringos) I really do not have any issues at all. I would like it to show art & info on track change but Synergy does that. I would like it to open/close with iTunes open/close but I can do an Automator action for that. I am happy. [alert admin]

How to never show window?

I mean the window that shows at first use, the one that says, "As you can see, some windows appear ..." I can't find a preference to keep it from not showing. I have tried quitting iTVC and restarting it. It is VERY annoying and so I assume it can be done. [alert admin]

You do know you can use SizzlingKeys or GimmeSomeTune? (I do now.) [alert admin]

Playwatch 1.1.0 (Mac OS X)

Very nice!

Needs hotkeys/keystrokes control ability but otherwise is very sweet. Will probably buy even without the feature. [alert admin]

MacReporter 2.6 (Mac OS X)

Will buy ASAP -- and the developer does respond.

Does everything I want how I want (especially inline-browser loading and site navigation. Fast. Handles all my feeds. And. I asked the developer a question a couple days ago and got a reply yesterday. Perhaps the lack of communication has been a language thing and/or junk mail filtering thing? Whatever, with my NNW subscription ending and discovering MR does even better for what I want I imagine I'll be ponying up soon. [alert admin]

Could use a clean up

TRhere is a GUI called Remembr or something like that. trouble with a GUI is then the OS loads. Only free RAM can be tested. Much more RAM is tested when from commandline.
