Keyword Assistant 1.9.1 (Mac OS X)
There is a way to launch iPhoto using Rosetta and use the Keyword Assistant plugin. I currently do it on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure it was posted here too a while back.
Make a copy of iPhoto, right-click the new copy and show its contents. Open up the info.plist file in Text Edit and delete the line stating:
<key>LSRequiresNativeExecution</key>
<true/>
After saving (this part might not be necessary, but the article I read said to do it) use Disk Utility to repair disk permissions. Then restart the computer. If after restarting, it still doesn't give you the option to open in Rosetta (which it didn't for me), moving it to another location and then moving it back to the Applications folder works. Not sure why. Anyway, I was able to manually install the plugin and fix the version thing and now I can use it in iPhoto under Rosetta.

Logitech Control Center 1.6.2 (Mac OS X)
I love Logitech mice. The tracking issue I've dealt with by simply unplugging and plugging the mouse back in. But, you really shouldn't have to do that to begin with. The software does need more customization options. I used a Kensington mouse over the winter break on another computer and loved how customizable the software was. I especially loved being able to set application-specific controls. Hopefully Logitech will work more on customization in the future. In the meantime, I'll just deal simply because I love their mice. StuffIt Expander 10.0 (Mac OS X)
Always keep a copy of 7.0.3. Man, the instant crash is just awesome. I'd like to know who tested this thing. I'll just use 7.0.3 for a while... like I normally end up doing anyway. I have yet to see a good release from them since 7. The later versions like to not unarchive some .sit archives. [alert admin]

FolderGlance 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Awesome tool. The only thing that could make this thing better is if it could get around something Tiger does (probably not possible). I'd love it if you could press return on a folder and have that folder open up in finder instead of the contents being displayed in the contextual menu. But, like I said before, it's probably not possible. Anyway, great product. Very handy. [alert admin]

WidgDock 1.3.1 (Mac OS X)
I would love this thing if you could navigate through folder's contents in it via the keyboard (a-z, etc.) like you can in Apple's Dock. However, I would love it *and* use it if it used Panther style dock folder navigation. Which is navigating through a folder's contents using the keyboard *and* have a directory open in the finder when you press the return key. Tiger changed it so pressing return just opens the contents of the folder in the menu and not in the finder. Unless this is already a feature that I somehow managed to not see. Then again, this may not even be possible. Hopefully it is ^^; [alert admin]

There seems to be a conflict w/ this and something else I use for Safari. Safari starts up and works for about one or two seconds before locking up for a good two minutes. It seems like there's a conflict between this and SIMBL stuff. I don't really feel like testing this further b/c it's a pain in the ass for me. I think it's a conflict between this and AcidSearch, but I could be wrong. In any event, works great in Safari when it's not running any SIMBL plugins ^^; [alert admin]

WindowDragon 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I can't live without this tool anymore. It's just plain awesome. I highly recommend it to everyone ^^ Only thing I don't like is that I can't assign the command-leftclick to the option to drag a window w/o bringing the app it belongs to to the front. Probably unavoidable, though. I just use command-rightclick instead. [alert admin]

App Stop .8 (Mac OS X)
No more randomly crashing! It's running strong. I'm glad to see you added the alternate image option for when something is paused. I'm looking forward to seeing the other stuff have left in your todo list for the app (especially support for background processes) ^^ [alert admin]

App Stop .7 (Mac OS X)
Great work on the new version. I love the sliders with the numbers displaying right above. However, it keeps crashing on me. It'll be open for a while, but the next time I look up at the menubar, it's gone. I'm not entirely sure why it keeps crashing, but it even crashes when I haven't even used it since I started up. While I'm sure this is too late to be much good, I do know why it would do that... late is better than nothing I guess. Stuffit backward compatibility is... well... no good. The reason it doesn't work is probably because you were using Stuffit 8 or later. It's good to keep a copy of Stuffit 7 around for such occasions. I'm able to unarchive it just fine in Stuffit 7. The fact that this is…

I'm having the same problem, and I'm using 10.4.1. Just sits there loading volumes. I let it sit for about 10 minutes, but it still kept trying to load.

Try using the BOMArchiveHelper. I *highly* recommend using the BOMArchiveHelper to unzip all your zip files. I've had so many issues w/ stuffit and zip files whereas I have had *no* issues w/ the BOMArchiveHelper. Also, keep in mind this is for Tiger only. It requires Dashboard. It will not work with Konfabulator, if that's what you were planning on using. If that's not the case, just use BOMArchiveHelper and you should be just fine.

Not compatible with Safari 1.3 (v312)
Hope a new version comes out soon to fix this! I'm not going to be able to live w/o it for very long! Thank goodness I'm working all weekend, so maybe a new version will come out before I have time to start using my own comp again ^^;

yeah, i get that too. however, in my case, i can just unplug the mouse and plug it back in. try that and see if that helps. either way it's lame they haven't fixed that problem. i too was thinking they would've fixed it in the new version...

RE: Photoshop CS can't see any Epson driver
Weird. That'd be rather odd considering Photoshop 7 works fine for my epson 1650 driver. ::shrug:: try uninstalling and reinstalling both photoshop and the driver maybe? if that doesn't work, try looking for some more info on photoshop cs as far as that goes. i don't think that's a very common problem, though -_-

Ah, the glory suckitude of WMP. If you're able, use either VLC or MPlayer to view windows media files (if you don't already). However, neither currently support Windows Media 9 (WMV3), so you'll have to use this app for that. if you're having video problems w/ the video track, go into preferences and use a manual buffer of at least 60 seconds. works for me. also applies to the plugin. plugin works best in firefox.…
