HandBrake 0.5.2 (Mac OS X)

File problem

I used the product to rip a dvd so I could watch it on my computer. It was supposed to rip to a avi file type but once it was complete, the computer showed it as a document file type. I couldn't do anything with it. What did I do wrong? Thanks, Ken [alert admin]

How about nexstar scopes

Can you add compatibility with Celestron Nexstar Scopes? All GPS models have a rs232 port on the hand controller. Ken [alert admin]

Keith's Image Stacker 3.2 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

New feature

maybe you can extend the program to where it can auto guide telescopes for astrophotography. As far as I can tell there are no OS X programs that do this. this would open up new possibilities on the Mac. ken [alert admin]

Give me a…

break, this was not directed at the powersupply fan noise. No amount of firmware fixes will fix this. Either it has the whine or it doesn't. Only a hardware fix will solve it. The fix was directed at the OS 9 turbo charged fan noise and it works perfectly for that. [alert admin]

File problem

After the second attemp, it did save it properly as an avi file, but when I play it in quicktime pro(latest version), I don't get any audio... Ken
