Linkinus 1.3 (Mac OS X)
I purchased Linkinus because I liked the fact that it has a nice GUI and seemed like it had a lot of support. Updates have stopped coming through and the latest version won't even register properly with the codes they sent me. I emailed support and they re-sent my code and it still won't unlock the application. I emailed them again to point this out and they stopped responding to my emails. So even though I am a paying customer I cannot use their application. -- Chris Kraft [alert admin]

BIAS Peak LE 5.2 (Mac OS X)
This has to be one of the most annoying piece of software I've ever used. You pay for the software and then find out you have to activate it. Once you get past that and are up and running you notice the menus are full of grayed out features saying "PRO Only" and links to their other products. To me it is very tacky to release a product that is, more or less, just an ad for other products, and charge money for it. It seems like they are taking inspiration from Quicktime player, where it has pro options grayed out, but at least Quicktime is free so you are not paying to see ads. I checked to see if there was a way to turn this off and even options in the preference pane kept popping up saying I had to pay for the full version. I really regret sending these guys any money.
