NewsLeecher 3.9 Beta 10 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
I've been with Newsleecher from the very beginning and this is simply the best binary newsreader for windows there is. I don't know any other program (on any OS) that comes close in speed, ease of use, stability, features and comfort. I absolutely recommend it. Development may pause from time to time for a month or so but everything new that's added is just well thought out and useful. And SuperSearch is an amazing feature that saves you tons of time.
