Telephone 0.14 (Mac OS X)

Really easy to use, but ...

... without any form of documentation not so easy to set up for someone who's not too network savvy. Please, dev, write some notes for those of us who don't have a clue how to get it to a working stage. (Hope I'm not the only one!) I'd love to give it a spin ... [alert admin]

Guaranteed PDF Decrypter 3.0a (Mac OS X)

Feedback - not positive

Via the Print cmd, I have created a simple one page PDF with the password '123' on my on G5 PPC and saved it to the desktop. When I run GuaPDF via Terminal I get "Bad CPU type in executable". When run as an AppleScript I get "sh: /Volumes/Storage: No such file or directory". ('Storage' is one of my external drives, but as the target file does not reside there I don't see how that's relevant to the operation of the script.) In all, the Demo won't let me demo. Anyway, what's with having to run this app via command line on a Mac, but via a GIU on a Win? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? Isn't that why most Mac users use a Mac - so they don't have to revert to the DOS-like Terminal? [alert admin]

APID ToolAssistant 1.0.46 (Mac OS X)

No complaints about the software

I love Rorohiko's plugs and this app which makes them work in InDesign - so no complaints about any of that. Why this version 1.0.46 of the APD ToolAssistant now shows up here as being released today beats me. It's been available from the devs since November 7 this year. http://www.rorohiko.com/wordpress/indesign-downloads/ [alert admin]

The missing link ...

For the moment the download link to v2.7.2 leads to a download of v2.7.1 with no sighting of the latest version at the Equinux site. Let's hope this get sorted soon. [alert admin]

Booklet CE 3.4 (Mac OS X)

Still great and still *FREE*!

No matter what it says here at VersionTracker regarding the price, I have been using this script for ages now. I don't use a hacked or pirated version and yet I have never been asked to pay, never been bugged with nag screens, never been left with a demo file or defaced end result. And it works just great. No, I am not the dev, patting myself on the back nor do I know him. But I do know he's turned out a pretty nifty script and I for one will recommend it to all who'll listen. And thank you to the dev. :) [alert admin]

Missing word list

I installed the widget successfully by the looks of the widget msg, but it won't recognise any words and I wonder if it has actually downloaded the word list. How can I tell? Where is that list stored?
