Working fine here- but still crap. Don't bother. [alert admin]

SimplyBurns rev284 (Mac OS X)
Downloaded fine but then refused to open (downloaded it twice)- the text below the icon flashed continuously and its icon appeared and disappeared rapidly in the dock... Not seen this behaviour before- what's up? [alert admin]

FStream 1.2.8 (Mac OS X)
I liked the feedback for this and thought I'd give it a go but the thing gets as far as allowing me to dismiss the 'donationware' message and then promptly quits every time! I'm using a very reliable iBook G4 1.42 GHz/1 GB RAM/10.4.10 by the way... [alert admin]

Starry Night Widget 1.0 (Mac OS X)
This looks good but, after entering my UK postcode, I got a 'not found' response. This this another US-only app? [alert admin]

Cyberduck 2.7.2 (Mac OS X)
Thanks very much for Cyberduck! I've used Fetch for years and had no particular gripes with it but, in an idle moment, thought I'd CD a go for the hell of it. Very pleased I did- loved the cheery interface and, when set up, the sheer user-friendliness and convenience of the programme. I'll be sticking with Cyberduck from now on! [alert admin]

Factbook 0.3.3 (Mac OS X)
I like this app ok I guess, but the paltry amount of info included on any country you care to choose is completely pathetic. Surely this can't be the sum total of what the CIA knows about the world? No wonder US foreign policy f***s up so often... [alert admin]

JAlbum 4.1.3 (Mac OS X)
As with the previous poster, I just downloaded 4.1.3 and the installer quits instantly. I've heard great things of this app but it won't let me try it for myself. What gives? [alert admin]

Thank goodness for the 10.5 beta
Hear hear to all that. Windowshade re-istalled and working beautifully here on my G4 iBook. Brilliant! Normality is restored. Why on earth did Apple get rid of this feature in the first place? Why hasn't the update appeared on VT yet? It was only by chance that I visted Unsanity's site and discovered the goood news. Whatever, many thanks to them for coming up with the goods at last.

I agree. Support a product produced by sweat shop slaves? Uh uh. I don't own an iPod either...
