eMailerX 2.7 (Mac OS X)

RE: What about Glucose's Ratchet?

You can use your favorite mail program's "Save As" or "Export" function to export the raw source of your messages into a text file. Then use eMailerX to "Bulk Remove" them. 1. Open a Bulk Remove window under the addresses menu. 2. Drag and drop your exported file on it. 3. Edit the list if you need to. 4. And finally, click to remove all occurrences from the main list. Here's a screen shot of the Bulk Remove window. http://www.wristondevelopment.com/BulkRemove.jpg Cheers, Kevin [alert admin]

Re: Quit whining, all of you. klw71

THANK YOU ERIDLEY! Btw, anyone running OS X (which should be pretty much everyone looking at this software) has access to Mail from Apple. In case you haven't noticed yet, it does a pretty good job of removing SPAM from your mailbox. Yahoo's bulk mail folder does an ever better job. And I've heard that Earthlink has something new out there. Enjoy the program and thanks for the great feedback - all of you! klw71 [alert admin]

Responding to duke661's…

review: The program doesn't have preferences. Unfortunately, the "disabled" preference menu item is a quirk of the system. I went ahead and enabled it, and give a message to the user to the affect that there are no preferences. As far as the time delay, the point is to give users a program that they can try with restrictions. Please register the product at http://www.wristondevelopment.com and I'll send you an unrestricted copy. Updates after that are free. Also, if you could send your comments to me first (klw71@yahoo.com), I might be able to fix any problems that you are having. I'm very willing to give great customer service as opposed to having the product slammed in a review. Thanks, Kevin [alert admin]

Another legitimate user...

I'll take a look at the underscore problem. In the future, you can send bugs directly to me and I can correct them and send you a new copy. And thank you for a positive, useful review... Cheers, Kevin

Leave this developer alone--literally

But don't you see that "opt-in" functionality is inherent. This tool was developed in order to maintain a list of potential clients and contacts. Build a list of contacts that "opt-in" to what you're advertising. Don't go off and grab any email address that happens to wonder by in your browser - that would just be a waste of time for everyone. The basic problem is that people just need to…
