Apple iWeb 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
To the people who are complaining about iWeb producing images for text blocks. You should make it clear to other readers that this does not happen with all text blocks. This is due to corrupt fonts. See this hint at macosxhints.
A few seconds of search would have allowed you to make a correct statement of the problem, instead of slamming the entire product. iWeb is a great application and really brings the promise of easy web publishing to everyone. [alert admin]

Smultron 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
This simple editor is surprisingly powerful. The multi-document search-and-replace feature is well done and a perfect replacement for BBEdit Lite. Small touches like displaying last time file was saved and the POSIX path to the file being edited are clever and useful. Highly recommended. [alert admin]

Webstractor 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
You have to ignore some users such as MAC_1984, who, much like his name, seems to be praying for Big Brother's beneficence and has no understanding of what this software does. MAC_1984: Have you tried this software and understood it? It allows you to save local copies of web pages and then edit them (highlighting, trimming, etc) into a format more useful for your own purposes. By your rationale, Word, Photoshop, Internet Explorer (due to the Web Archives feature plus use of an editor like TextEdit) should all be banned by the Ministry for Truth as potential theft devices to steal others' work. Your sort of "reasoning" makes me both want to laugh and cry at the same time. Are you so uncreative that you must think like a thief? [alert admin]

Gimp.app 2.0.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Fonts loading hangs application
2.0.0.3 hangs on startup when it's loading "Fonts" -- had to quit it after waiting for 10 minutes. Going back to 2.0.0.2. Still, I'm very happy with what the developers are doing -- this is a great product from the open source effort. [alert admin]

fact that it can look up English words in the definitions means that the CEDICT dictionaries are now twice as useful. I agree with other reviewers who think that this is the way OS X's Cocoa Services feature is supposed to be used. I had some issues with loading the Chinese files but the developer is very responsive and helpful. Two thumbs up. [alert admin]

Well, this is why open source projects are so great. You can examine the source to see if there's any security issues. Having said so, you can also do a search for gDisk on google for reviews.
