ACal Calendar 2.2.3 (Mac OS X)
... just as promised. Easy to install and easy to use. I like that it can apparently be easily styled with the built-in stylesheet. I would like to see an option where all mention of administration is completely hidden from users. Click a date for more information and you also see an admin login. That would confuse members of a church or other organization who might wonder what an admin is and why they need to login. The current setup is great for situations in which users are allowed to post events. But if I were to use this for a group or organization, I would feel the need to post a notice: "Please ignore any admin login links. Those don't pertain to you!" [alert admin]

iBar 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I've tried just about every iTunes controller available. I like the way this one functions. Good balance between providing functions and remaining unobtrusive. I discovered right away that command dragging lets me position the tabs. I would like those positions to be remembered across startups but it's not a big deal. Also, this app triggers the iTunes-won't-quit bug that I hadn't seen in a while. Definitely worth a donation! [alert admin]

Buddy Retriever 1.01 (Mac OS X)
I'm a major news junkie. This won't necessarily replace my RSS readers but it is a great complement. It would be nice if disabling a module would also disable the page. I don't track stocks or slippers but I still get a blank stock page and a page full of slippers! Thanks for a great app. Looking forward to future development. [alert admin]

NewsYouCanUse 2.2 (Mac OS X)
. . . and a worthy update. Is there a simple way to transfer some of my feeds from the previous version to this one? Unfortunately, drag and drop doesn't work. [alert admin]

I don't see a Web site listed but the download link supplies a dmg image containing a Mac OS X applicaton -- and a very nice application, at that. It works fine on first testing. I am such an avid newshound that this is only going to mean that I spend even more time reading news online than I do now! [alert admin]
