Yahoo! Messenger 3.0b3.98855 (Mac OS X)

Sound output

Appreciate the voice feature in the new beta, have one problem. when using my headset, can't get it to send the output to my headset. The preference in Yahoo messenger would go back to my computer speakers even when i make the adjustment, and i have the computer main set up to send the output to the headset. Not very convenient for privacy. not sure if anyone has experience this with the new beta. using a G3 iBook, and can't do video with skype. [alert admin]

Mercury Messenger 1709_RC1 (Mac OS X)

No alert

Only started using in the last two days, and thinks it has very useful software. Have two problems with it so far. 1. Had quite a few crashes, and 2. there is no alert notification when someone on your list signs in or even when someone starts a conversation with you. I find that i have to keep checking to see if someone is chatting with me. Look forward to see what they do with this program in the future [alert admin]

As a registered and paid user of this useful program

actually you could go to the website and put in the email address you registered with and they'll send you a copy. That is how i get mine most times when an update comes out and i don't feel like waiting.
