PithHelmet 2.8.3 (Mac OS X)
What does this do when it won't install
I tried to instal 2.8.3, 2.8.1 and 2.7.1 and all of them fail to install in OS 10.4.11 with Safari 3.1.1. I got messages that it is not compatible with this version of Safari 3.x.x and Got a message saying Not compatible with Safari 3 Beta and a message saying it is not Compatible with this Version of the OS. Freeciv 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)
I play against AIs mostly in 10 to 20K tile sets Several times the game just exits no warning and no notice. The program just closes, Puff gone. X11 stays running. Another complaint why does it need X11 on the UNix Mac instead of a native port like for winders? [alert admin]

City of Rauma 1.2.0b0 (Mac OS X)
The game is in need of polishing. Map is too small and not expandable. It needs to rotate so the other side of views are seen. It might be a hit someplace but it is too predictable. Build more recreation facilities and get a better ranking. Cities don't grow by recreation but by commerce and industry. The only industry is paper making and cutting trees drops your ranking faster than the money grows because you cut the trees. [alert admin]

FileChute 2.9 (Mac OS X)
I get 15 Megs from my ISP. If you get Ks get another ISP. I worked for one in the days of 486s and Mac OS6 and we allowed 13Meg transfers over a modem in emails. [alert admin]

Intego VirusBarrier X4 10.4.4 (Mac OS X)
On the Mac I have been Virus free for years. Period. Maybe my life is boring all my windows friends send me e-mails with viruses that die when they arrive. Spyware Well i only except mail from trusted companies and friends and I only go to websites I need to do business with. So why pay for something that has no job to do. [alert admin]

Google Earth 4.2.198.2451 (Mac OS X)
I ran a test to Speakeasy.net/speedtest while it was open. I was about to call Comcast when it finally shut down. 3146Mbit/s while running and 9876 Mbit/s when closed. I have repeated this twice now. [alert admin]

Google Earth 4.2.198.2451 (Mac OS X)
I have had to force quit this program 5 out of 6 times. What's up? The maps are out of date some areas by 4 years or more, and why can we not search for a street like Google Maps or MapQuest. [alert admin]

Punch It 3.0.3 (Mac OS X)
On a simple test of the stand alone version it failed miserably. I added myself twice as an employee and gave me an employee number and password yet it would not let me log in. Then I found it did not warn the password was incorrect but the employee did not exist. As a long time Filemaker developer I made a very similar time keeper in 1993 for my consulting business. I used Little Snitch and was quite happy with it. Once business picks up again Little Snitch will get paid for and reinstalled. What I did not like about Little Snitch was the pop ups after I had blocked the world out. Not the web's pop ups but Little snitches screen.

I switched to Mail in the OS and I fear I shall never return to Eudora. After using Eudora from version one until a month ago I feel that is would take a leap of improvements to get me to switch. My only two faults with mail is Command M does not check mail and account checking time is global not tie to individual accounts.
