Apple iChat AV 3.1.5 (Mac OS X)
cant connect to AIM server host
I can't use iChat as of two weeks ago. I started getting the can't connect to server host errors. Then, I tried to reinstall from the Tiger CD and also using Pacifist and now I can't even get iChat to launch. [alert admin]

Poisoned 0.497 (Mac OS X)
It's good for popular stuff that a lot of people have, but I have downloads still waiting to be downloaded for months. It's as if those people never logged back into the network. If that's the case, there should be an expire alert, or a 'forget it bud, you are never going to download this file' alert. It's like if you don't download the file that day, you might never get it downloaded. [alert admin]

Transmit X 2.6.1 (Mac OS X)
Just installed, and it's still there. I still can't drop a file/folder into an empty portion of the server window. It will highlight the closet folder instead. very annoying when uploading directories and files on an hourly basis. I hope another fix is on it's way. Otherwise, it's a solid app. [alert admin]

Proteus 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)
I STILL CAN'T delete users!! WTF? Delete users then relaunch, wow, they all come back to haunt you. Also, I haven't verified if messages coming from someone not in my list still display as their friggin' number. Why for gods sake can't Proteus retrieve the user's info from ICQ to tell me the user's nick so I can see if I know them? I don't want hundreds of people in my list so i don't add everyone I talk to. But when they come back 3 months later, I have to ask "who are you" cause all I see is their friggin' ICQ #. Otherwise, I love Proteus. These 2 issues, however, have been around since the civil war and I've emailed and posted on Proteus forums about them :( [alert admin]

mlMac 0.7 (Mac OS X)
Have issues using the same temp folder as the web interface version, Mlmac makes it's own and I'm not sure where it's getting the temp files from, but the .7 version is gorgeous. Kudos to the author for really getting into the OS X look. [alert admin]

Extensis Suitcase 11 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
They are close to a final beta then they will release it. Wait to check out Font Book because it is very capable of replacing Suitcase, and it's free. It may not be the end all for everyone, but everyone should hold off spending cash when this baby will be free and updated for free. [alert admin]

Crack head-You don't need to hook up a printer to Airport to get other computers to get it to work with rendezvous. Open sys prefs on target computer with target printer and select PRINTER SHARING ON. Then, magically without any HP PRINTER DRIVERS SUPPORTING RENDEZVOUS, other computers on your network will see and be able to use the printer. I can use my wife's HP 940c using rendezvous and she can use my HP all-in-one 6110 all with factory drivers. [alert admin]
