iCalViewer 1.0.7 (Mac OS X)

Annoying Alert

As Theissman has pointed out, iCalViewer has an annoying alert during startup. This is a left-over from 1.0.1 which was never removed. My apologies. A fixed version can be found here: http://homepage.mac.com/kgg/.cv/kgg/Public/iCalViewer%201.0.7a.zip-link.zip Karl [alert admin]

Collapse the window

Hello, That is certainly a very interesting suggestion and one that seems worthwhile implementing. Let me first point out that there are alternatives to having a black background: 1) the desktop mode has none, 2) you can change the colour and opacity of the background, and 3) you can resize the window to your own liking. Let me also say that I am unsure if it is fair for you to rate the product based on it not having a feature…

No big deal for me...

Thanks for the comment. Fair enough evaluation from your point of view. I'd just like to point out that, as well as putting the display into the corners, BatteryViewer has options to display the battery level across the whole of the menubar - or even over the whole desktop. Thus, while you can jam it into the corners, you can also make it really big - and still not take up extra real-estate! Regards, The developer

I want the older version back...

G'Day mrsteveee1 and bernibomer, Thanks for your comments. You seem to have two main issues: 1) Screen Saver only This will be available in the next version. 2) Other menu icon a) You can change the icon yourself - there is a grey one provided in the iCalViewer.com downloads page. b) Other options are being considered for a future release... Regards, The Developer

Ical Saver ?

Hello, Please tick the checkbox, "Appears over Screen saver" in the preferences... I hope this satisfies you. If not, please contact me with suggestions/brick-bats! Karl
