xGestures 1.73 (Mac OS X)

Great app, fair price

This works perfectly and in all my applications. I only use fairly simple gestures left/right/up/down, and the 'enter' one (right, then down) to close a window Some other have stated that they noticed slow response with xgestures... I've found it to be very fast, much faster than cocoa gestures. Doesnt seem to slow down my system or anything either. I'm on powerpc... Good software you use should be paid for, and I have a hard time opening my wallet... but this great small app, at only $5, is clearly worth it. The configuration is simple. Having "sets" of gestures for odd types of apps/etc would just complicate it I think... [alert admin]

xGestures 1.73 (Mac OS X)

great

excellently done. i'm a big fan of gestures, and was sticking with an opera that crashed constantly just to keep them, or a glacial memory hog firefox. now I can go back to camino! [alert admin]

Caffeine Browser 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Very fast, nice watermarking feature.

Great: * speed. it's hella fast! * nice to be able to browse via filesystem Bugs: * need to type something in the regiistration field before the 'demo' button becomes active. * asks for my keychain authorization when I try to open the preferences. I said 'deny' and it worked ok. Feature requests: * I'd be nice to be able to have a side panel to show a larger version of the image, versus the new-opening window. Especially for us widescreen users. * Watermark should work on multiple pictures at once. Cool feature. Not sure how much I'll use it, as exporting to 800x600 is sort of a watermark/limiter in itself :) * Add the rotation buttons to the toolbar * tags, etc, but then you're getting more fully functional/database oriented. Nice work! :) [alert admin]

YooZ 1.00b8 (Mac OS X)

Mac classic look, irritating nag screens, tiny font, no uninstaller

Looks like this was barely updated for os x. It has some nice functionality, but that is overshadowed by the awful user interface :( Since it installs a background daemon process to monitor the application switches, I wish it included an uninstaller, as now I get to spend several minutes un hacking it out. Every time you click back to the program after being in another program, the nag screen shows up asking you to send $20 to france. [alert admin]

Active Timer 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Nice and Simple, Wish shows total times

Beautifully simple program, just what I was looking for. Even better would to allow a way to browse historical days too, whether by 'total time worked' or per application. I reallly wish the 'sum of times' defaulted to showing the total. And it would be more ambient if there was a way to choose to hide the seconds column, since the movement in the background is distracting. Nice work, thanks! [alert admin]
