Safari Enhancer 2.6 (Mac OS X)
can this disable the "sure you want to download an application" warning
A great enhancement to Tiger safari would be a way to disable the microsoft-like unnecessary warning "are you sure you want to download this file" for files with embedded attachments. Can Safari enhancer get rid of this warning? [alert admin]

DiskWarrior 3.0.3 (Mac OS X)
what if you no longer have your bootable CD?
I run this from a 2nd machine, booting up the to-be-repaired machine as a firewire device, then launching diskwarrior on my 2nd machine. Spares me the slow-as-molassas boot up of the diskwarrior boot cd. BUT... now I can't update. How do I update a store-on-disk copy without having to have the original boot cd? [alert admin]

Apple iPhoto 4.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I ran "repair privliges" and that stopped the "generic icon won't launch" problem, but now my transitions are missing (in slide show). Folks have reported this problem on other boards. Nobody seems to know fix. Anybody out there know?? Thanks [alert admin]

"no other applications can be running"? Wake up and learn X
Was perplexed at the "no other applications can be running while this update installs" nonsense. Are these people still writing for system 9? [alert admin]

If you call AOL handheld support (866) 265-4732, they will tell you that they are no longer authorized to give out information about Palm products, as AOL no longer supports them. Nice treatment for your $20! [alert admin]

i agree with all the others. there's no reason to use this deceptively-named "eudora" 8.0, when thunderbird and apple mail do exactly the same thing. i'm sticking with good old eudora 6.2.4. Nothing else has its great search capabilities, simple tools for moving messages between mailboxes, and various other elegant features. Like the others, I wish somebody would clean it up a bit (we need an Intel binary, ability to display HTML, better short-header display,…
