DeebeeX 1.1 (Mac OS X)

I seem to need more downloads?

After downloading, I ran the program. It wants ORACLE_HOME to be set to a directory. I set it to one I created, and it wasn't happy: Unexpected Error Occured: (RuntimeError: Unable to acquire Oracle environment handle) I interpret the statement "Thanks to the packaging system delivered with PyObjC the application will run without further downloads on a OSX factory installed machine." to mean I don't have to download and install the oracle client. Do I? I am running 10.4.8 [alert admin]

SyncTwoFolders 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)

Looses source folder

I can make this work for a sync. But when I quit and restart, it forgets the source folder, though not the target folder. In this case the source folder is a subfolder of a mounted shared folder on another computer ("afp://..."). Maybe that matters, but that's the functionality I need -- I want to regularly backup some files from my laptop onto my desktop. [alert admin]

Sudoku Companion 1.4.5 (Mac OS X)

Backward in usability

With 1.4.5's new keystrokes it's hard to play. I used to be able to hold down the option key and move around while I marked things. With the new separation between adding and removing a number form the notes, I now end up pressing CTL then 5 then releasing CTL and moving (possibly after using OPT) and the CTL then 4 then release then move then CTL then 4 then release then move... Before it was OPT then 5 then move then 4 then move then 4. Lots less press/release. I'm rolling back to 1.4.4. [alert admin]

iPulse 2.1.5 (Mac OS X)

Sweet, simple, mac-like

I've been using this since it first came out. Every time people see my screen they ask about it, and most take it to download. I use a jacket that makes the background completely transparent so it hovers over my screen, and I love it that way, but I'm a simplicity nut. [alert admin]

Solitaire Till Dawn X 1.4 (Mac OS X)

Always smooth and easy

I've been using Solitaire Till Dawn for many years, and each release is easier to use, nicer looking, and solid. I love this program. And always new things to play. This time, Diamond Rush is really cool, quite different. [alert admin]
