iCal Archiver 1.01 (Mac OS X)
I wonder how useful and reliable it is. I like to keep my old stuff in case I need to look, but it would be good to not necessarily be packing that old data around all the time. Does anyone have some experience with this? Thanks, KL [alert admin]

Apple iTunes 8.0 (Mac OS X)
This update changes a few things, but for the record, you CAN turn off the Genius; you CAN select the good old Browse mode; and the import settings are easily (I would argue MORE easily) accessible under General Settings - Import Settings. Just because things have moved doesn't mean they have disappeared. Please don't start raving before you really have a look around. It is very silly. Overall, I like this update and the app seems to open faster than before. KL [alert admin]

Apple MobileMe 1.1 (Mac OS X)
For those who have been wondering why they are not seeing the update, perhaps there is a firewall involved. I have NetBarrier and was wondering what was going on until I temporarily disabled NetBarrier and I immediately saw the update. It's worth a try.... KL [alert admin]

pzizz 2.4 (Mac OS X)
Got v.2.4 from this site, but now the version on the developer's site is showing v.2.3 as the latest and their version history doesn't even go that far. WTF? [alert admin]

SOHO Notes 6.5.1 (Mac OS X)
Strange behaviour with Dock Note
I have just installed Soho Notes 6.5.1 and now my Dock Note bar doesn't show up until I click on the menu icon. When I enable the "hiding" function, the dock notes migrate across the screen if I click on the tab or try to adjust the size. It just moves left until it falls off the screen and then the only way I can seem to get it back is to disable "Turn hiding on". I hope this is easy to fix. [alert admin]

Amazing Slow Downer 3.1.1 (Mac OS X)
I would like to add to my previous comment that I have been hearing from the developer constantly and I get the feeling that my case is being taken seriously, and that no one else seems to have reported the same problem. I have also noticed that it seems to only happen with AAC files and not AIFF or mp3. Am I the only one that has this behaviour? KL [alert admin]

Amazing Slow Downer 3.1.1 (Mac OS X)
With this update the Mix slider does nothing or worse, behaves somewhat randomly. I would wait for another update. [alert admin]

NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
You can easily change your import settings. They have now moved to an easier place-General - Import Settings. I don't understand your other complaints.

Try disabling NetBarrier or any other firewall you may be using. It worked for me.

Yet another useless and unhelpful review. Sorry about your kernal panic. You need to get some fresh air or something. Maybe less coffee. Please don't just trash a program like that. For what it's worth, it works great for me.

I have used NetBarrier and other Intego products for over 7 years and I have very seldom had a problem and have always found their support to be excellent. I have noticed that people who get their ire up prematurely are the ones who have the most difficulty with things in life, generally.

It is actually a big improvement
It have never had it crash or behave strangely. I find it easier to use the way it is now, versus the old pref pane way. Entering rules is a no-brainer. I have no idea how anyone would find it harder to use than the old version.

I would run DiskWarrior *before* doing a defrag, if it were me. I think this is very important, as any directory problems could run amok during a defrag, causing significant loss of data. $0.02

It worked for me only after I rebuilt the directory on my iPod using DiskWarrior.
