IT Journal Pro 2.0 (Mac OS X)

Lipstick on a Pig

This is truly the worse kind of crap; a 1st year computer major with a few free hours and a mac made a program that they feel they can sell and retire on the proceeds. Get real - the FREE FileMaker Business and Productivity pack has all the same features. [alert admin]

GPSNavX 4.45 (Mac OS X)

Simply the best.

Have used for about a year now. Worked on my PBG3 up to and including my dual core G5. Used a GlobalSat USB receiver until I recently bought a Magellan eXpolorist 600. It didn't work at first so I emailed the developer and he had a new version of GPSNavX out in under two days! Very Good Work! Thank you. [alert admin]

iBlogiCal 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

You have got to be kidding me...

$25 for this? Only the seriously masochistic would even entertain the thought of using this. Check out his "developer site". [alert admin]

Saft 8.2.1 (Mac OS X)

RE: Re: ARGHH! Need to Upate AGAIN!! - BY HAO LI !

I think the developer is showing his lack of understanding yet again by replying to the "ARGHH" comment. No one was questioning the price - it's still a pain in the @ss to have to update it every month. I'm here (yet again!) because of the Apple monthly security update not being compatible with your broken and buggy program. Also - I really don't think it's fair for the program developer to rate his own program... especially when he doesn't respond to support requests! [alert admin]

MobileWrite 3.5 (Palm OS)

Way Better than Grifitti

Almost as good as the Apple Newton's handwriting software, Rosetta. Great and great price too. Only downfall, it doesn't discriminate between words. You need to '-' dash in a space. [alert admin]

Saft 8.2.1 (Mac OS X)

A real Pain

As mentioned below, you need to download and reinstall after each Safari or Security update. I've had to do this 3 times in two weeks. And each time the developer takes his sweet time posting a new version. I'd consider this a bug. I feel like I've mis-spent my money because of all of the work involved in keeping this program running. Too Bad. [alert admin]

iMagine Photo Automator Actions 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Close

I was hoping to use this to watermark a folder full of PDF's. It works to an extent; applying my selected watermark to the batch of PDFs and then it saves it with the correct file name (something automator's built in scripts does not do). But the output is no longer a readable PDF in either Preview or Acrobat. I can open it in Photoshop and resave as a pdf but that's more work than renaming the files as I have to do with the built in script. Thanks for the start and keep up the good work. [alert admin]

First try lost bookmarks

Whatever you do - Don't upgrade to v1.x Unless you want the same problem coupled with a forever dissapearing iPod space problem.

RnSK ??

Much less inaccurate than you claiming to respond to all polite emails. You, sir, are an ass.
