Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.0 (Mac OS X)
Absolute Rubbish! Do not touch it. I have used Acrobat Professional for years upgrading as the new version comes out, well according to adobe tech support, Ver 8 is not supported on Intel Macs???? I corrected the gentleman on this and he went off and checked. He came back to me after a few minutes and admitted he was wrong. Daaah. Surely he should know. He's in tech support! After half an hour of troubleshooting I agreed with him that after logging in as a different user it worked fine, that it had become corrupt in my user account. The solution he offered was to delete my whole user account and create another as Acrobat 8 Prof does not have preference files which can be deleted if they become corrupt. I have never had to do this just for one application. What about all my settings for all my other applications? This didn't concern him at all. What a joke!!! [alert admin]

VersionTracker Pro 4.0fc1 (Mac OS X)
I am very disappointed with this new version. It does not update. I have just installed VLC 0.8.4 updated from 0.8.1 and VersionTracker still reports that I have the older version. Why is this so, and when will this be fixed. I paid for this software remember, a bug fix should be out by now???????? DO NOT INSTALL!!!! [alert admin]

Fast DVD Copy 4.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Look elsewhere before you buy this software 
I purchased two licences for this software without a hitch, however I have recently updated both machines on which the application is installed. So that one can use the software on a new machine you have to deactivate it and then apply for a new unlocker code for the new machine. It took one week for a response to the first machine and I am still waiting for the other and that is after sending numerous emails to the developer. The software is not cheap, so you would think that the support would be reasonably good. It is extremely poor. I do not recommend people buy this software. Use Mac the Ripper and then DVD2oneX if you need to back up your DVD collection. [alert admin]

Be Really Careful do not order this product
I ordered a copy from the online store on the 5th May. I have still not received the goods. My credit card has been billed. I have emailed customer service with no result. I have sent a second email today. I recommend that people have second thoughts about ordering this software. [alert admin]

PocketMac Pro 3.3.5 (Mac OS X)
Having installed this app, I get the same problem with high CPU usage. The DCCMDaemon is at about 50% as well as a kext of about 50% as well. If I force quit the DCCMDaemon process via Activity Monitor the processors return to normal. [alert admin]
