OmniOutliner 3.0 beta 4 (Mac OS X)
It blows everything else out of water. The new user interface is very nicely done and full of so many little details. Good job OmniGroup. [alert admin]

It puts Project Looking Glass (Sun) to shame. While the former is the most uninspired user interface to date, Croquet puts the users into the play and lets them to act on objects and create their own contents. Once the etoy feature will be integrated, we will see very unusual things and will prove that 3D can be used more effectively than for shooting baddies. [alert admin]

Moho 5.0 (Mac OS X)
This new release is absolutely amazing and the improvements made on the user interface are a welcome addition. I reaaly like the new visual feedback on bones editing, the scripting interface to customise tools and the abilty to fine tune the rendering.
If you are serious about 2D animation, Moho offers incredible power, flexibilty and quality for the price.

DEVONagent 1.0b1 (Mac OS X)
If you are sick of browsing meaningless pages after a google search, DEVONagent is your remedy. Make a search and take a look at the log tab to see how many pages were rejected because they were junk or didn't contain any information about what you were looking for. The instant digest feature is a killer app. [alert admin]

Gordon Flash 1.1.8 (v526) (Mac OS X)
Gordon is a decompiler, meaning that you can reverse SWF movies (even import-protected movies) and browse scripts, frames, graphics, sounds, buttons, layers and symbols. In comparison, the Flash editor is limited to non-protected movies and flattens movies into a single layer, losing most scripts in the process. On the downside, the timeline is very slow and browsing a movie is more difficult than it should be. The reversed scripts are a bit buggy and requires some knowledge of actionscripts in order to make them run in your own code. The price is maybe a bit steep but overall, Gordon pays back by itself after a few uses and is very useful to explore how features are implemented without browsing through tutorials, expensive books and forums.
