HTML ImageShow 2.0b1 (Mac OS X)
HTML ImageShow will overwrite files called the same, inside the same named folders "big" or "thumbs". So, most probably you overwrite HIS's own output... I don't think you really lost such an amount of time, sorry. HIS *will* create "image galleries with slideshow capabilities". Have you tried the "start slideshow" button, BTW? Just google for "the image slideshow" (including quotes) and browse some image galleries with slideshow capabilities. In fact, I use HIS myself because it's free and I like its features better than other freewares. Output may be ugly and may be fixed in a future, including templates and a bunch of features (this will be in a future). But just don't say, please, it doesn't create slideshows ;-) [alert admin]

Docktop 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Very clean interface, nifty launcher, lots of features, absolutely customizable, and features in 1.1 are groovy. I've been a beta tester and the author is very responsive. He accepts any kind of feedback and suggestions to improve his products, that is because they are solid rocks. [alert admin]

Makarra 1.0b3 (Mac OS X)
As orgonaut said (and I think s/he was talking about this), Apple's Font Book rendered Makarra as an absurd and grotesque tool, so it's time to discontinue it. Thanks for all the positive reviews and thankful users of this app before Font Book's arrival! [alert admin]

MacHacha 2.0b1 (Mac OS X)
Does not launch, does not launch
I'm changing all my products progressivelly to .dmg. I'm getting mad with all comments regarding app-does-not-launch and permissions problems caused by StuffIt. :( Unfortunatelly, this makes bad reviews, less stars... I don't need stars, really, but MacHacha has been allways a great product (as I see it) and StuffIt is beating my product (not only my products, lots of other developers are suffering the same problem), and this is bad for all us. From the help files: >> Create a tab-delimited, comma-delimited or return-delimited plain text file containig the recipients of your message. Make sure you stripped blank spaces. Drop the related file (a single file) onto the "Recipients" text field. Optionally, you can type the addresses manually, use the "Special" menu or the shown buttons to grab the recipients from a FileMaker database, Apple's Address Book or use Entourage's own address book.

I think this is the old permissions issue with the StuffIt Engine 8.0.0.

Works fine here (Safari 2.0.2). You can try a different browser or "curl": curl -O http://homepage.mac.com/julifos/soft/newsletter/newsletter.dmg.gz

From the Help files (Help menu)
2. How does it work?
You drop a file. If its extension is recognized by MacHacha as a segment (0, 000, 001, Split, rar, exe, machacha), it will attempt to join it; otherwise, it will prompt you to split the file.
(same info available at product's web page)

CPU hog; scrolling jumpy; does not fetch updates; so ...
Please, don't forget g4 users! Anyway, if you see scrolling "jumpy" text, why do you say it doesn't "fetch updates"? (if it doesn't update, I would rate it "0", btw)
