DiskLibrary 1.8 (Mac OS X)
I liked this app, and chose it because of the interface and Mac "feel." I thought the $39 was steep, but figured it was probably worth it. Big mistake. It is a sloth, both for importing CDs/DVDs AND searching. Another negative... it choked when exporting catalogs, and I only had 15 CDs indexed. Tried it on my both PPC and intel Macs running Leopard 10.5.2 DiskCatalogMaker RE that ships free with current version of Toast does a much better and faster job of indexing, and the search engine is far superior. I am prompted to write this very accurate review, because the developer would not answer my emails requesting help. js [alert admin]

Microsoft Office 2008 12.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Office 2008... jeeez I HAVE to use this program because 99% of my clients' in the PC realm use it. With MS Office X, it was stable and did not crash. With this "much improved" 2008 version, it bombs, removes hyperlinks, and in general does not work. I am going back to MS Office X, if for no other reason that it rarely bombs. Don't bother with this. Save your money and time. [alert admin]
