Handango advertised that they were giving this app away free this week, but just so you know, that was a total scam. A few days in, they changed it to P+ LITE, which is basically just a demo version. Many people who got in well before the switch were never given their registration codes. The software itself is well designed, but these kinds of bait-and-switch tactics are unacceptable. I can't translate all that into a single star-rating number, so I will just leave it at that. [alert admin]

This does something AcidImage doesn't... 
...it works. (AcidImage just gets out-of-memory errors on my Palm even though I have enough available.) Still costs too much. [alert admin]

The Landware site is totally down. This means no registration codes for anyone, even if Handango/PalmGear/etc. takes your money. Also no support, updates, or pretty much anything else. You can download the trial version from other servers, but you cannot unlock it. [alert admin]

AvantGo USB sync 1.2.1 (Mac OS X)
Nope... doesn't work at all for me. PowerBook G4/Mac OS X 10.3/Zire 71. Nothing happens whatsoever after the connection is established. Have tried manually disabling HotSync. This app actually does worse than nothing - it messed up my existing HotSync capability, which had previously worked fine even under 10.3. Thankfully, a restart fixed that. [alert admin]

WireTap Pro includes silence trimming, scheduling, and saving as AAC, QuickTime movie, MP3, or AIFF. You get a lot more than a "name change." (I am involved in the development of this program, but I do not speak on behalf of Ambrosia or anyone else.)
