Incredibly accessible interface. That's a big definer of this program. I didn't have to have so much knowledge in order to get things done. Disk authoring: the options and automated steps are outstanding. New formats include blu-ray, set top dvd player, and dual layer. It also has multi disk burning capability. The fastest method is to use the drag and drop icon. Even the menu though is quick. It's a good idea to keep the same type of media on a disk so you get the right format. So if you choose music files the program will default to a stereo disk format. It will also do automatic video file conversion if it's needed. Photo, Audio, video editing: I found that all basic functions are here. You can make a creative video by using VideoWave. It's timeline mode makes editing very precise. The audio can be cleaned up by a distortion repair tool. Projects: Again they are fairly automated. Slide shows, albums, collages, cards and so on have step by step guides. [alert admin]
