GGMud 0.8 (Mac OS X)

Word Wrap?

For me, the word wrap isn't working making it unusable. I was using the Intel native version which may still have problems or something. I hope they keep working on it though, it looks promising. [alert admin]

Savitar 1.4 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

I want to love it

I really really want to love this product, and hope that someday I can. So far, I like the potential it shows. The publishers refusal to adapt a OSX UI is very annoying however. I had to chuckle when reading on his website that he is a cocoa/osx and ui professional, as this product doesn't show that at all. It seems like it has been thrown together with no regard whatsoever to the macintosh style. The menu items are oddly placed, and some of the important ones are oddly obscure in places a macintosh user would not expect to find them. There is no "New Trigger" button or menu item until AFTER you open the events window, making what could be an easy one click solution into a 3 or 4 step process. I am glad to see the new client "Atlantis" Under development so I have more then one to keep track of, and ultimately support totally. HeyNow... Please please show us your UI genious and make this app easier to use and more pleasant on the eyes. [alert admin]

iClock 2.1.2 (Mac OS X)

Decided not to buy

Oh my goodness!! I decided not to buy this app when I got this type of program bundled with another app I bought. The process of quiting iClock is a rediculus pain in the @$$ And for crying out loud don't make a mistake or you can't throw away the app as it remains "in use" even though you can't find it to try again to get the quitting process right. Whats up with that?? Why can't you just make a "quit iClock" that simply "quits" This is the first time I have ever been frustrated enough to leave this type of review even for products I don't like I normally don't rant, but good grief..... Pastor 1.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

I Liked the bulleted password feature also

I made the same point about someone walking up behind you when the complaints were coming out after the feature was first introduced. I was sorry to see it removed. I would like to see it put back in place in the preferences set by default to "on" and those who find it annoying or want a less secure situation can turn it off if they choose. I am glad to see this being discussed again. I thought after the feature was removed, I must be the only one who liked it! All that said, I have tried many password apps and this one is more convenient then any of them. Even keychain -In my opinion- Joni [alert admin]

Scoopr

I think the idea is to protect from someone looking over your shoulder and seeing passwords as the program opens. Geesh you have an attitude for someone who is using freeware. Pastor is a great program. Perhaps you could just leave all your locks unlocked (haven't tried this so don't know for sure) and then the bullets wouldn't be there, but one way or the other you should try to be a bit nicer in your critique of someones work when that someone is giving it to you for free.
