This product is always iffy.

To skip the process of registering at their download site, etc. and them FORCING you to give them your personal information, just go HERE to download Stuffit Standard (includes expander) http://simsub.digitalriver.com/cgi-bin/stuffit-download [alert admin]

StuffIt Standard Edition 9.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Does not work at all

Just downloaded this latest version. i'm running 10.3.7. I completely uninstalled version 8 before installing. When I try to launch the program the icon bounces in the dock for a few minutes and then stops and does nothing, when I go to force quit the program, it indicates that's it's not responding. The same thing happened with version 8. [alert admin]

OmniWeb 5.1 beta 4 (Mac OS X)

The best browser for Mac OS X

I like it better than FireFox. I like it better than Safari. It's got all of the best features from both of those browsers and then a whole bunch more that I never even thought I needed until now. :-) Funny how that works. Just one example: you can customize shortcuts to ANY website with a search function (not just big search engines). So I go to Google.com and at the bottom of the window a little search icon appears, telling me that I can customize a search with this page. I click on the icon and it asks me what I want to call it (so I can pull it up from the drop down menu of search engines like in FireFox) and it also asks for a shortcut. Here's the BEST PART--I give google a shortcut of "g". What does this mean? How fast can I now do a google search for "dvd players" from ANY web page without slowing down to move my mouse or tab over to the search bar? THIS FAST: I type the following APPLE-L g dvd players ENTER It's fast. My shortcut for VersionTracker? It's "vt" This is just one of the features of OmniWeb I love. The ONLY feature I miss from FireFox is the find-text-as-you-type, which they told me their working on adding for a future version. Oh, by the way, their support is AMAZING. Omni Group is an excellent developer with excellent customer service and support. They've personally responded to EVERY e-mail I've sent their way, even some dumb questions I asked when I was first getting acquainted with the program. If you're considering buying a license to OmniWeb, I recommend it. If you're hesitant, just try it out for the 30 days to see if it's your style or not. [alert admin]

Colibricks 1.5.2 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

The best brick game for the mac

This is a fantastic game. I played the 6-level demo for a few years off and on and I just purchased the license to get all 50 levels as well as the level editor, etc.

Great graphics, physics, and sounds. [alert admin]

EasyWMA 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)

No WMA 9 (lossless) conversion!

Just so you know, this program will not convert WMA 9 lossless files which, unfortunately for me, is the ONLY reason I needed this program. [alert admin]
