Hollow Ground 1.2.2 (Mac OS X)
Hollow Ground 1.2.2 introduced some major changes by adding graphics hardware acceleration. Some users have reported minor problems with freezes on i.e. the gamepad configuration screen. It is a minor incompatibility with the graphics hardware on some machines. We have now fixed it. Update to 1.2.3 if you experience any problems with 1.2.2. The updater is only 1.1 Mb, but requires at least the full version of 1.1 or later to already be installed. The updater is so far only available on our web site, but the above link and other external links have been re-directed for now to point at the full version of 1.2.3, instead of 1.2.2. [alert admin]

Hollow Ground 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)
The updater application does not touch the save files, so it can not wipe them out. There are two different save file formats in Hollow Ground. The format changed with 1.0.2. Starting with 1.0.3 the game application can now read both formats correctly. Users that manually copied their save files from older versions to 1.0.2 where unable to launch saved games and sometimes the save file was overwritten if users ignored the problem and just continued to use the game. Any corrupted save files is related to 1.0.2, not 1.0.4.
We would also like to make sure that everyone knows that we offer free support for installing and running Hollow Ground in our support forum. We also have an extensive FAQ with answers to the most commin questions. [alert admin]

Thanks for the quick feedback. Strangely enough, we have not modified any code that handle gamepads in version 1.2.2. Also, it works just fine in our tests. We will of course look into it and release an update as soon as we find the problem and can fix it. We ask all users to kindly post any info that might help us locate the problem (gamepad model, analog/digital etc.)
Here is a very temporary workaround. The…

We truly understand if you are disappointed at losing you saved progress. We would be angry as well. It is no excuse, but it is a good idea to always make a backup copy of save files before you make an update. The updater should not wipe out save files (it does not even touch them), but computer programs can fail for so many reasons that it is a good practice to make backups of…

It might work on 10.1 and higher
No, several users have been reporting that the game does not work on 10.1.5. There is no technical reason saying that it should not run perfectly on 10.1 and higher, but we can not guarantee it.
Our suggestion is to download and try it on your system. If it works, it works! We have no mechanism that prevents the game from launching on any version of MacOS X. If there is a problem the initalization of…

We would like to report that we might have fixed the above mentioned glitches in update version 1.0.3. Please, send us a support mail if the problem should still remain on your configurations.

We have an extensive support section and a forum on our web site. The software has been tested with most common configurations, but might of course still fail to run under some configurations. We always appreciate bug reports so that we can make our game run on all configurations. It should run just fine under 9.2.2. Make sure you have the latest version of GameSprocket and CarbonLib. If you have not done so, try re-downloading…
