More iChat Smileys 3.1 (Mac OS X)
I just discovered this set, and I like it. Through jabber I get in touch with my msn friends, and it was unfortunate to not be able to see some of their smileys. Now things look a lot closer to how they were intended. Thanks! [alert admin]

SafariStand 3.0L151 (Mac OS X)
I've been using SafariStand since Safari 2, and initially on Leopard it felt really different without it. But now that things are settling down, I would really like to see Stand follow in the way Inquisitor has, and change according to the new stricter rules of InputManagers in Leopard: http://blog.macromates.com/2007/inputmanagers-on-leopard/.
That would avoid the whole SIMBL installation step. I tried this manually, but something's missing with Stand, while SafariBlock worked right away. Inquisitor was the easiest of them all, installed itself beautifully. [alert admin]

Skype 1.4.0.35 (Mac OS X)
I noticed it consumes a lot of bandwidth and CPU. I'm not a big fan of its principle of using P2P technology to connect calls. So I elected to check out others, as there's more and more being born... [alert admin]

Just wanted to thank the developers for this software. Customer support is fast and friendly, as are the forums. Features are useful, I hope others are on the way. Now I can call my friends from my US cell phone anywhere on the globe as long as they're logged in and signed up for a free number. Also, it offers free voicemail that I get emailed to me. Brilliant, no more Skype (with its ultrapeering). I just wish I had known about it earlier. [alert admin]

Skype Lithuanian Localization 1.3.0.8 (Mac OS X)
Ištaisyta viena rašybos klaida ir du vertimai, kur lietuviški žodžiai galėjo pasirodyti neaiškūs. Jei jūs atsisiuntėte vertimą prieš jį kątik pakeičiant, bet nepastebėjote nieko, kas krito į akį, galite ir toliau sau naudotis originaliu vertimu, nes Skype versija visiškai ta pati. [alert admin]

Structure 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
I couldn't agree more, a ribbon diagram (not losing sight of bound residues) would be an excellent option. Helices filled with green arrows make it too crowded. Now if they only ported over the molecule xscreensaver, that would be one wonderful alternative... [alert admin]

BurnX Free 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I use it primarily for burning multiple sessions on my CDs and DVDs, and it does just that, nicely and easily. [alert admin]

Good application but not entirely a good solution.
I also had a ported number and the developer fixed it right away. I still couldn't send SMS to my number with AIM, but in about a week after porting everything got sorted out and now every service works. So I don't think there's need to worry, servers get updated eventually and life goes on :)

can't get Safari to work with 9.0.28.0
I had the same problem for a while. Then I reran the uninstaller, and that time it deleted ALL files from everywhere. I noticed before that there was ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/flashplayer.xpt left over after previous uninstaller, for some reason. Restarting and installing 9.0.28 afterwards worked right away (new files were put in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/), Safari showed flash just fine. I did the preference repairing, they were fixed, and Safari and other browsers continued to work.

If you're suffering with Skype (like I used to), I hope you are aware and have tried the alternatives, especially the Gizmo Project, which seems the keep the Mac version ahead of others, for a change. It's a much younger project, so it may have its own problems, but as I have not noticed any, I would highly recommend it. Just an idea.
