Livid Union 2.5.4 (Mac OS X)
This is the most bug-infested program I have ever used, right out of the box. The help forum is useless, and their responses are anything but TIMELY. Rather than beta testing, I believe this company prefers to sell it first, and fix it later. No matter how cool the Effects are, (agreed--they are pretty cool) I cannot however recommend this product for professional use, simply because it is literally guaranteed to crash during your set for no reason that you can easily identify. Tech support has gone out of their way to make ME look like the idiot, as if owning the most powerful laptop on the planet, and having tons of experience some how means nothing at all. [alert admin]

AudioCodex 1.1 (Mac OS X)
This is THE ONLY music player you need. I have been using the Beta's for over a year now. I you are a singer, a musician, or an enthusiast, this is program makes it FUN to listen to music. One of the best features is te ability to speed up or slow down the tempo of any song in your collection, and the sound quality is superb. If you are trying to learn a part, you can loop the part and slow it down. You can also adjust the pitch, so if the song is too high for you to sing, or its not in tune with your instrument you can take care of that with a simple real time adjustment. UNlike iTunes, the visuals are INTERACTIVE. You can actually use a mouse or a midi conroller to manipulate the visuals to the music. For serious musicians, you can use all of your AudioUnit plug ins on any of the tracks!! Anoher greatfeature is Tap Tempo. You can tap the speed that you want your music to play back at, and AudioCodex works very well alongside other PRO app. An overlooked feature of AudioCodex, is the Bulletin board, and their fantastic, personal service. DUDE...take it from me (read my comments above) and DONīT BOTHER. Yes, he effects are cool, but the stability is SHIT. Itīs not worth looking like an idiot in front of a crowd as you attempt to REBOOT.
