SafariBookmarkChecker 1.30 (Mac OS X)

False Positives

The majority of the "not found" bookmarks were in fact perfectly valid when visited. Not helpful to me. [alert admin]

iCDc 5.0.2 (Mac OS X)

It wants an e-Mail address

No matter what I do, it wants an email address. No matter what email address I enter, it still continues to ask for an email address. If this is its way of nagging to pay, it should just say so. Nowhere can I find any info on what this email address is supposed to be for. It's not in any of the Help text. [alert admin]

iGlasses 1.2.2 (Mac OS X)

More than one setting?

The extra light setting works perfectly. My iSight seems out of focus until I set the "Tune" focus button. Am I missing something though? Is there a way to have the brightness AND the focus recalibrated? "Tune" focuses correctly, but I want the autofocus to be "calibrated" to that, not turned off completely. [alert admin]

Widget Code 1.5.1 (Mac OS X)

Needs a manual

I am constantly amazed at how products are released with no accompanying reference manual. Followed the prompts, made a widget, didn't even have an "i" icon to go to the back of the widget. It might be good, it might not, but there is no way to tell without a manual of some sort to describe what it can do. Another folder of "Widget Creator" with a nonstandard folder icon is included, again with no explanation of what it is or what it does. And the persistent nagging to pay made me give up on this thing before I had a chance to figure out how it worked. Release a manual, dude. This is absurd. [alert admin]

PreFab UI Browser 1.3 (Mac OS X)

Fab-U-Lous

UI Browser is fantastic. It will show you exactly what is in the UI that can be read or acted upon, and even test the action for you. The biggest advantage for me is that I know right away if an interface item is going to respond to a certain syntax, and I can try a bunch of different syntax right there in the browser. Worth it at twice the price. This utility is not just for heavy-duty scripters. It would be great for beginners looking to script an app that is otherwise not scriptable. [alert admin]

OnMyCommandCM 1.5.2 (Mac OS X)

Activation Mode "Always" does not work

With a Terminal command, setting the "Activation Mode" to "Always", the CM only appears when the Finder is clicked in. Isn't it supposed to appear in all applications? [alert admin]
