Speed Download 5.0 (Mac OS X)
I have been a user for many years and have gone with all the updates. Like many of you I would prefer the upgrades/updates to be FREE. Like any business they need to make a profit and the only way that will happen is through upgrades. We all have a choice of not upgrading. It is ours to make and no one holds a gun to our head. The product is excellent in my opinion so I will drop a chunk of change on them as usual. I know of no product of their equal so I will pay to play. [alert admin]

Font Finagler 0.5.3 (Mac OS X)
I have just upgraded to the latest version of Font Finagler. I am running OS 10.4.11 on a G4 Powerbook and a G5 Desktop. Immediately after installation and running the application I had lost all my information on an application ISafe Pro 1.2 This is an application that stores all your passwords for websites such as banks, credit cards, etc. At the moment I have found no other problem but be prepared and backed up just in case. I do have my complete HD backed up on an external drive so I will be ok. Have not decided but may revert back to the older version. I think after getting my iSafe Pro application working again I will run the new version of Font Finagler to see if the same problem occurs. Backup Backup. [alert admin]

uCalendarX 3.1.5 (Mac OS X)
I have been using this application for almost 10 years and still find it the most simple and best calendar there is for my use. I downloaded this update and installed it on my G4 Laptop 1.67 running 10.4.10 with out a hitch. It saved all my entrys and I did not need to re-enter my SN. Excellent program. They do not make changes often. [alert admin]

Apple Security Update 2007-004v1.1 (Mac OS X)
I am using a G4 Powerbook running 10.4.9. I installed the update this morning and had absolutely no problems and all is working well. As always I ran Repair Permissions after installation. I am still wondering why a Security Update did not showup on Software Updates in my System Preferences when I ran it? Updates of this nature from Apple have always appeared there. There have been a number of complaints about this update and I wonder if some are not running one of the wrong updates as three appeared. I went to the Apple site to download my update. [alert admin]

Apple Security Update 2007-004v1.1 (Mac OS X)
I am running a G4 Powerbook using OS 10.4.9. Why would this update not show up on my System Preferences/Software Update? For this reason I have not installed it. Version Tracker picked it up for me and I see some people are having problems. Will wait this out to see what the deal is. [alert admin]

DYMO LabelWriter 7.7 (Mac OS X)
I am running OS 10.4.9 on a G-4 PowerBook using a Dymo LabelWriter 400. My installation went fine and it immediately worked with my Apple Address Book. I had the previous version off Dymo on my computer in the Application Flolder. First I removed it and placed it on the Desktop. Next I disconnect my USB from LabelWriter to computer. Then did an installation and after that was complete reconnected the USB to Labelwriter. It worked without a restart. I then trashed my old Dymo folder on the desktop which i kept just in case. Did a Permissions Repair. All works well. By the way I used the installation icon in the English folder. The one standing by itself would not work properly. I have a Dual Dymo at home running on a G-5. Will try that to night. I also have Dymo Stamps running on one side of this Dymo so am wondering if I should do this upgrade? [alert admin]

I have been using Dymo 6.0 with my Dymo LabelWriter 330 on a Mac G-5 running 10.4.1. I had various problems after install and in my opinion this version is not as good as the previous version unless you have a LabelWriter that requires it. I could get it to work but it was not easy. When the Label Writer interface appears for you to type on you could just click anywhere in the label or if there was something already on the label it was highlighted so you could just start typing your new label. On the new version I had to clear off the typing on the existing label first. Maybe I missed something on the install but I did several installs and removed every trace of the software before doing an install. I have gone back to version 6.x and am happy again as Dymo does make a great label maker. I was thinking about going to the Dymo 400 or Turbo 400 but not if I have to use the 7.0 software. This is a great application. Easy to use. I have it installed on a G4 Laptop and G5 Desktop running 10.4.11. I just bought an IMac Intel with Leopard and I do not think it will work on that. It will be greatly missed. If any of you know of a similar application that is Intel/Leopard friendly I would like to hear about it.

I have used Intego products for several years. I have not used their anti spam software. Generally speaking I like their products very much. Very easy to keep updated and they do what they say they will do. I agree they are expensive but on occasion you get what you pay for. I use Personal Backup, Virus Barrier,Net Barrier and Net Update. Good products in my opinion.

I have used Intego products for some years such as Net Barrier X4, Personal Backup and Virus Barrier X4. I have all these programs to be outstanding. I have not tried this Spam program but am considering purchasing it as my mail spam filter is marginal at best. Intego has won several awards for their products and my support when needed has been prompt. I am running a G4 laptop with 10.4.9 and a G5…

I have been using Intego Personal Backup for some years now. I find it to be an outstanding product. It has never failed to do what I ask. I use it mostly for backing up my entire HD to an external HD. This in itself has saved me many hours of having to put everything back on my HD when I have had a failure of some sort. The product is not free as…

Is not this update for the 10.4.9 and not for the Intel computers? There is one for the Intel models but this is not it.

There are two installers on this software. Try the one in the English Folder. The one that was in no folder did not work and gave me an error message.
