Spring Cleaning 10.0 (Mac OS X)
Sorry my previous post was confusing to many.
In my previous post I was commenting on Spring Cleaning Version 9.1 which performed well for me in several tests without any errors or any of the problems some other users have reported. I was recommending version 9.1 and advising against any previous versions since I had encountered problems with the older versions in the past. I apologize for the confusion that the previous post caused. I have not used the newest version at this time, version 10, so I cannot comment on it. However there are a lot of free software options that can do many of the same things as Spring Cleaning. Again I am sorry for the confusion from my previous post. [alert admin]

Spring Cleaning 9.1 (Mac OS X)
The best ..I am surprised by the difference in 9.1
First off I was never a big fan of Spring Cleaning since I tried it on OS 9 back when around version 7 or so was out and then tried version 8 with no big differences. Then version 9 which was ok but lacked in performance and still wasn't as good as some free software like Onyz and others. I did not expect much with the 9.1 but I was greatly surprised. It has been optimized for OS 10.5 Leopard and the performance has been greatly increased. All housekeeping scripts run in around a minute, rebuilding prebindings, system caches and uninstaller are now better than any other software. Including Onyx. MacPilot, *censored*tail and others. I must say I was shocked and will not recommend this software to anyone. [alert admin]

Sorry everyone the last paragraph was a typo. What I meant was that I would recommend the newer versions, (v9.1) but not the older versions. I have not been on here in a long time and did not notice all the comments and confusion I caused with the last comment. I haven't version 10 so I cannot comment on it but there are a lot of free utilities that do the same job as Spring Cleaning so…

History will always repeat itself.
I agree but have you tried the 9.1 before you judged it.
