GarageSale 5.2 (Mac OS X)

Best money I've ever spent on software!

This program is worth every penny of its $35 price tag. Makes auction listings easy whether its one auction or 50 auctions. Ran into a few problems when I first purchased and the tech support is accurate and prompt. Creates a much more decorative auction than I would have time for on my own and I've made my purchase price back a hundred time because of sales using Garage Sale. I really can't say enough good about the program and its developers. [alert admin]

GarageSale 5.0.3 (Mac OS X)

praise long overdue

I bought my first computer in 1983 and rarely since that time have I purchased software that provided so much value for the price. Garage sale works flawlessly. If there is a problem, the online support has been impeccable. I have consistently received a reply to any question in the two years I've been using the program within 24 hours. Often the reply comes within a few hours and has always remedied my problem (usually an I-D 10 T error). Anyone who lists a lot of auctions will find that they reccover the cost of the program in just a few days as the image hosting service significantly decreases the cost of listings. The many templates offered really dress up your listings too. I'm usually a cynic when it comes to software and few programs get my full approval but this is one of the few. Don't miss out on this program! [alert admin]

Beware!

Used software for about a month after end of trial period and purchase of registration code and it seemed to work flawlessly. Then I tried to open the program to add a deposit to find it had crashed andI had lost all my check register information. Suggest you stick to a paper register as I plan to do from now on. Paper doesn't crash, Ultrasoft Checkbook does! [alert admin]

Sole Possession 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)

A great app!

I've used Sole Possession for a couple years now to inventory my post card collection. It allows a lot of versatility regarding information I keep with each card. Drag and drop would be nice for photos (I use a lot), but the app is great as it is and tech support is outstanding! [alert admin]

Maxi Bidder 1.8.3 (Mac OS X)

Great program, Super support!

Maxi Bidder 1.83 is great. I bought MaxiBidder 1.6. and started winning a few auctions instead of just bidding and watching others win at the last minute. Started having problems when I updated to a G5 1.8 duo. Maxibidder support stayed with me all the way with suggestions, attempted fixes and updates until they got it going again with 1.83. The price is cheap for a great product and the excellent service you get with it is priceless. [alert admin]

Maxi Bidder 1.65 (Mac OS X)

STAY AWAY!!!

I bought MaxiBidder and set up exactly as described in the manual. Worked for about a week Then I downloaded 1.65 and it hasn't worked since. Put hours trying everything. Their tech support is next to useless and runs on the assumption that YOU have done somethingwrong. It CAN'T be their software. Paid my money and got next to nothing for it. don't do the same. VueScan 7.6.46 (Mac OS X)

Stop griping, start scanning

I don't get the people griping about this software. Its simple really. Scanner does not work with OS X. Buy the software: scanner works. What could be simpler than that. It works. It's easy to use. It save having to spend $100-plus on a new scanner. When you do buy that new scanner it will undoubtably work with it too. I wish all programs offered for sale worked as well. [alert admin]

Page Sender 2.3.1 (Mac OS X)

Wish there was…

a lower score I could give it. Tried it and all I got was frustrated. Demanded money back and trashed it. Don't waste your time or money. [alert admin]

Customer Problem

Gave one of the company's tech support persons all the information he asked for: no results. Upgraded to MB 1.7: still no results. Went to an open forum becasue it seems to be the only way to get their complete attention. Sorry but when MB works it is great (otherwise I wouldn't have spent so much time to get it back up and running) but when it stops working. It appears you are out…
