AppDelete 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Good features does not find all files.

I do like the features. And the app is definitely worth twice the price. But I have noted that in large complex applications it does not find all associated files. I have had this experience on several occasions. None the less it still gets 4 stars from me for the interface, and the ease of use. Hirez [alert admin]

Ghost Sphere 1.8.1 (Mac OS X)

WhatSize.app shows folders!

Well I was looking at a folder that was stated to be a 1.5GB file with the application "WhatSize.app" when I noticed that it was showing the names of all my files and the pathways to them that were hidden using Ghost Sphere! This looks like a glitch to me! I am no Mac genius but the mere fact that with a freeware app. (a good one by the way) like WhatSize you can see the names of hidden and encrypted files is a very bad thing. Finder can't find it, Spotlight can't find it, but "WhatSize" finds them and both lists the path and size of the files! Just knowing the path and names of hidden files gives anyone with just a little skill something to hunt for! So be aware! Hirez [alert admin]

BTS Track and Bill 1.0 (Mac OS X)

seems to work well, but

I am a photographer and do 4-5 shoots a day at a flat rate, and I bill twice a month on these jobs. It would be useful to me (very) if the option to bill by job rather than hours was available. (with an adjustable rates field) If you were to make some of the headers changeable that would make it more versatile. I could really use something like this if the above changes were made. For what you are offering I give you 4 Stars! Jim [alert admin]

Twistory 2.3 (Mac OS X)

Same thing as most above!

I have a G5D2 running 10.4.6. I haven't tried it 'cause it wont start. I get the same alert that everyone else gets. "not supported on this architecture." That's to bad as this looks like it would be fun and useful. So there is NO WAY I can even review it and give it any rating, so NO STARS is it. [alert admin]

VueScan 8.2.36 (Mac OS X)

Where is the support!

I inadvertently bought the personal rather than the pro version and immediately contacted Hamrick Software (tried anyway) to try and cancel and then upgrade to the pro version, and I got absolutely NO response from these people. So I assume that if you have any sort of trouble with this software then don't be surprised if you get no help! The software itself seems to function OK with my older HP but Not that great an improvement. So I'm not going to rate it. Not going to buy it again either! Jim [alert admin]

Sudoku Susser 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)

Bad downloads, and very slow at that!

As the title says "Bad Downloads". I get a "No mountable file systems" alert after all three of my attempts at downloading this file. And fifteen minutes to download a 5 meg file, wow that's one slow server! That would not bother me if it would put a usable file on the desktop. So I suppose I won't bother with this any more. SuperDuper! 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Just the best of everything!

I don't generally get all excited about applications, but a little over a year ago I found gold at Versiontracker! I'll just say it is THE BEST backup app out there! To all you other app developers, take a lesson from "Shirt Pocket" INSTANT SUPPORT RESPONSE! No hunting for answers. No searching through the boards, or some long list of answers on a page that don't answer anyones REAL questions. Shirt Pocket is worth your support IF you have anything on your Mac you don't want to loose, and who doesn't. Then this easy to use and very stable application is your cup of tea, or bottle of Bawls, whatever. Keep it up! OH, and thanks again Dave! Jim [alert admin]

Doesn't run

Interesting. The maker of a duplicate image hunter posts duplicate replies. This would be a good idea if it were shareware. hirez
