iCal2Web 2.8 (Mac OS X)

The new version on the web page posted today (but with the same version number) now works with OS X 10.5.3. It's a sweet little application, with terrific support by the author. [alert admin]

This is a terrific little product. It worked not only with iTunes 4.2, but iTunes 4.5 on the day that upgrade was released, too, with no problems. Christian's CarTalk fix is necessary, though, if you want to record that program. I think the only issue I ran into was when the Streamers Library once didn't re-find itself properly after I continually added and deleted programs from its Library. One night, I had the eMac turn itself on (Panther required), record four hours of programs scheduled through iCal, and shut itself off (again, Panther is needed) an hour after the recording was done. Just a note: it took my computer about half an hour to import a three hour recording into iTunes. I don't have an iPod, so I simply burn a CD-R or CD-RW. Burned as an audio file, I think I got a little under 80 minutes on one CD-R. For a two-hour audio program, iTunes will tell you up front that it will require two CDs. It will intelligently fill the first CD, and then ask for the second blank to burn the remainder. (Of course, MP3s take up much less space - probably 4-5 hours on one CD.) This is living! HP DeskJet USB 6.1.1 (Mac OS 9)

for DeskJet 950C in OS 9, use the Deskjet 5.4 Installer

The 6.1.1 driver absolutely does not work in Mac OS 9. HP's program finds the printer, but the Chooser doesn't. HP's download site points me to the 5.4 installer, not the 6.1.1 driver, so I think that VersionTracker is in error in describing this driver as working with the the 950C. Multiple burns?

I can't seem to get multiple burns - I'm only getting single-session CDs. Can someone offer a tip? [alert admin]

I can't seem to figure out how to do multiple burns. I'm only getting single session (one burn, and that's it for the CD). Can anyone help?
