Adobe Reader 9.2 (Mac OS X)
Adobe PDFViewer Plugin still not 64-bit compatible.
DEspite the upgrade to v9.2, the Adobe PDFViewer Plugin remains v9.1 and is only compatible with Safari 4 if that browser is set to run in 32-bit mode. I hope Adobe fixes this soon, since the built-in viewer in Safari has fewer features. [alert admin]

Rendering incomplete w/11.5.1r601 on Test Page (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/) with Firefox 3.5.1. Works fine in Safari 4.0.2, though. [alert admin]

Apple Digital Camera Raw Compatibility 2.6 (Mac OS X)
Will Apple ever provide RAW support for the Panasonic LX3?
Still no support for the Panasonic LX3. If you own this camera, please send feedback to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html and request RAW support. Apple needs to know that there are more than just a few of us out there that want to use Aperture and/or iPhoto with this camera's RAW formatted photos. [alert admin]

PDF Browser Plugin 2.3 (Mac OS X)
Doesn't work With Scroll Wheel on Mouse, No Thumbnails
In my brief tryout this morning, I noticed two issues. In Safari, the pages do not scroll when using the scroll wheel on my mouse. I have to click on the up/down arrows or drag the scrollbar. Also, the icon to list the pages alongside the document was grayed out. When viewing the same document in Safari with the Adobe Reader plugin, both features worked. [alert admin]

Perian 1.1.3 (Mac OS X)
QuickTime icon missing from .wmv files after update
After updating to v1.1.3 all .wmv files show a Windows Media Player icon and open with that app instead of QuickTIme as they did with previous versions. Although I was able to use "Get Info" to make QuickTime the default app, the icons continue to be incorrect. [alert admin]

Internet Cleanup 5.0.4 (Mac OS X)
If you click on the Downloads link, it takes you to a page with a list of products with free trial versions. Internet Cleanup 5 is included. When you click on the Internet Cleanup demo link, you first get a "last chance" offer to buy the product for $19.99 instead of $29.99, if you are so inclined. I haven't tried it yet, but you can get a demo version if you want one. [alert admin]

VMware Fusion 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
No line out sound with v1.1.1 and Mac Pro
There is a confirmed bug in the new v1.1.1. In Mac Pro models, the sound is redirected to the internal speakers only. This apparently was a problem in the beta version of v1.1.0. It was fixed in the final release of that version, but reappeared in this new version. VMware tech support is aware of it. [alert admin]

HP Photosmart 9.7 (Mac OS X)
Is this the beta version or a final release? A beta version of v9.7 has been available on the HP web site since Nov. A visit to the HP site reveals only the same beta version: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-55665-1&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=1153494&os=219〈=en is available for download? There are known problems with this beta version which caused me to avoid installing it in Leopard. [alert admin]

Permissions - lots of permission problems
I'm having the same problem. Disk Utility reports a long list as being repaired, then shows the same long list when verifying repairs after they are supposedly complete.

Hidden Preferences No Longer Function
MacPilot used to be able to disable some of the new features/return Safari 4 beta to v3. behavior if desired. With this final release, I am unable to revert to v3-style progress bar for loading status. It appear that Tabs on Top feature is gone from final release of v4, thankfully.
